Prasarita Padotonasana (wide legged forward fold)
Here is an asana that most of us can practice and gain multiple benefits from just by holding it for upto 60seconds.
Right from
-Reliving & stretching the lower back
-Stretching the hamstrings, calves, glutes
-Helping strengthen the hip, knee & ankle joint flexibility
-Lengthening the spine (being an half inversion)
-Helps immensely with feet balance & strength
-Inversion helps the brain and heart both relax (helps with stress, anxiety, depression and sleep struggles)
You can practice this asana as a part of your stretch routine, your cool-down routine and your relaxation routine!
AVOID: If you have high BP, migraine, heart condition, vertigo, lower back, knee and ankle injuries / pain
