Centre for Technology Assisted Reconstructive Surgery (CTARS) Pvt Ltd. , is a maxillofacial surgeon by profession. He has over 10 years of experience in working with Rapid prototyping and stereolithographic models, and also being associated with market leaders like Materialise, 3DSystems etc.CTARS is an exclusive healthcare 3D design and print unit.
CTARS is the India’s first and only 3D design and print unit for VSP (Virtual surgical planning) and 3D Splint fabrication for Orthognathic Surgery (correction of the jaws).CTARS is one of the very few units in India who design, print, and surgically operate on patients needing patient specific implants.Dr. John Nesan well connected with a wide network of surgeons across India. CTARS is just one year into running and already has one patent and two more are in the process.
He is also a member of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and Indian Society of Oral Implantologist. His passion is to bring the best in technology to needing patients in India. He is actively promoting the applications of 3D printing to the healthcare community. He regularly conducts CME and CDE programs on 3D printing in medical and dental universities across India.
