On the occasion of "World Diabetes Day" on 14-Nov-2019, launched a program "Jyot Se Jyot Jalao" for advocacy, awareness, diagnosis and treatment of "Diabetic Retinopathy". Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is an eye ailment caused due to Diabetes. Blindness due to DR is irreversible. Requesting all diabetics to get eyes checked once in six months to stay away from irreversible blindness.

Mahatme Eye Bank Eye Hospital conducted free eye checkup camps at Sirsi, in Umred Taluka, Nagpur on 2-June, at Wasala in Armori, Gadchiroli district on 3-Jun, & at Katholi in Kurkheda, Dist Gadchiroli on 20th of June.

100 patients needing cataract surgeries were operated free of cost. Thanks to the support from Blue Cross Laboratories Pvt. Ltd.
