The All Namsai District Students’ Union is delighted to introduce Namsai FC, the proud team representing Zone 2, which includes Lohit, Anjaw, and Namsai districts in the upcoming Indrajit Namchoom Arunachal Football League scheduled from 4th October to 8 November at Golden Jubilee Outdoor Stadium, Yupia. We sincerely appreciate the generous gesture of providing us with a free season pass, a fan jersey and we are placing our hopes in our team to bring the trophy home to our soil.

📢 RESULT ANNOUNCEMENT – PROJECT LAKSHYA (AAPSU x Northeast PSC Institute)

We are pleased to publish the list of meritorious ST students of Namsai District who have been selected for Project Lakshya, a free APSSB coaching initiative of All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) in collaboration with Northeast PSC Institute.

This selection is based on combined merit, with 50% weightage each from Class X and Class XII marks.

👉 Important Note on Evaluation

Students who received marks instead of grades in their Class X Board Examination have had their marks converted into CGPA as per CBSE norms.

The CBSE grading system used for conversion is shown in the image attached.

For candidates who appeared in six or more subjects, only the best five subjects have been compiled for this result.

A meeting was held at GUPS Jona–I, convened by the All Namsai District Students’ Union (ANDSU), and was attended by parents, School Management Committee (SMC) members, Gaon Buras, and the Chairperson. During the meeting, we highlighted the importance of the proposed merging of schools and explained how the move would be beneficial for the overall growth of students in terms of education and opportunities. It was encouraging to witness the positive feedback and support expressed by the attendees.

On the same occasion, a Parents–Teachers–Students meeting was also conducted to review the current scenario of the school and to take stock of the academic as well as infrastructural status of the students and institution.

Following our recent visit to the Government Residential School (GRS) Tissue, where we witnessed the disheartening condition of the hostel and the lack of basic amenities such as proper cooking tools and drinking water storage, the All Namsai District Students' Union (ANDSU) took the initiative to conduct a social service program on the school campus.

As part of our contribution, we provided wall clocks, ceiling fans, water bottles, study lamps, and water filters and many more essential items required by both the school and students to address the immediate needs of the students.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Chau Ahingsa Manchey for graciously supporting this effort by donating a volleyball, volleyball net, and carrom boards, which will bring much-needed recreational relief and encouragement to the students.

We also express our deepest thanks to Bright Foundation NGO for their generous donation of a gas cylinder and gas stove, helping the school ensure safer and more efficient cooking practices for the children.

Your kindness and timely support have not only brought tangible relief but also restored hope and motivation among the students and staff. Such goodwill goes a long way in uplifting educational institutions in need, and we remain ever grateful for your compassion and contribution.
