From being a person who could never stop at a piece of something 🤨to being a person who knows how much and what kind of food is good for me 😃I have come a long way✔️ Here are my tips for effective portion control strategies that will surely help you lose weight!📝 ➡️Drink 2 glasses of water about 15 mins before each meal. That way your stomach already is full volume wise💧💧💧
➡️Take a quarter plate and not a dinner plate. This way you pack less food at a time. If you are eating out, for eg., at weddings, take 1 bowl instead of two and only lay food on half the plate.🍽
➡️Serve yourself in the kitchen and then go to the dining table where there is no more food. If you bring all the food at the table, you will end up taking extra servings!
➡️While eating, have a soup, or a salad first, then head for the protein foods and lastly touch the carbs. So it would be a soup, then salad, then a few pieces of paneer and lastly roti or rice. 🥗
➡️Decide what you are not going to eat... no matter what! For eg., once you decide you are not going to have dessert, don’t even go near it. Why look at something you don’t want? 😵
➡️Crunch your eating window 🔐If you limit your eating window to 8 or max 10 hours a day, you will automatically eat lesser portions!
And lastly, always remember that extra food you are NOT able to burn is extra energy, which is going to get sorted. So use your food to fuel your body for the next 4 hours only!
