🤔I always get asked by my patients if they need MRI scan to confirm about BPPV- Benign Positional Paroxysmal Vertigo.
👉My answer is always "NO". Waiting for MRI will be a waste of time and you wouldn't get rid of your symptoms.
📞Contact a Vestibular Therapist in your area and see them asap. They will be able to guide you if you need MRI or not.

Benign Positional Paroxysmal Vertigo is very common both in older adults and patients with brain injury.

👉If you have been diagnosed with concussion or brain injury and not recovering from foggy feeling or offbalance, get yourself checked for BPPV.

👉It is not necessary to have a spinning sensation to be checked for BPPV.

✔It is very important to tackle your anxiety. We recommend using grounding and breathing techniques to help with this reactive anxiety.
