The age specific incidence of Prostate Cancer (PCa) increases after age 60, and in 2 years, Indian Council of Medical Research has projected cancer incidence among 50,000 men among a total of 135,466,250 (age 40-64) Indian males. This is because there is no adequate monitoring or screening for PCa in India. Our SeroMark-1 test is the only test that fulfills that urgent unmet need to address a devastating health problem very early-on in Indian males.

The Company's lead test for SeroMark-1 (patent approved- U.S. APPLICATION SERIAL NO. 86072845) is a biomarker that can predict for the presence or absence of prostate cancer in normal appearing men. All current prostate screenings require physician’s to write a script, are invasive, sometimes need painful biopsies, time consuming patient’s visits and finally at high costs. Other available tests in world-wide markets cost around US $500. Differentiation of SeroMark-1 compared to others in the world market: Our SeroMark-1 (Approximately Rs. 4000/test in India) testing helps reducing the above mentioned parameters. SeroMark-1 test will, 1. Help improve health in men and deaths due to prostate cancer, 2. Reduce the number of unnecessary repeat biopsies spurred by elevated Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA levels that are false positive- No detectable prostate cancer), and 3. Investigates even after surgery or therapy in prostate cancer positive patients, if cancer is eliminated or still present and whether or not additional treatment/intervention is immediately necessary.

Doctors/Physicians in India can prescribe this test individually or in combination with PSA testing. The patient or the doctor’s office contacts us either on-line or via phone. We will arrange for a blood draw which will not take more than 20 minutes (after a nurse or a certified technician will visit the home/desired location and do the necessary paperwork), blood will be transported to our facility for analysis in Mumbai, and then the results are provided within approximately 5-7 working days. We will eventually scale it for a service available all over India. The results can also be mailed anywhere within India, or viewed by securely logging on to any computer having access to internet, anywhere in the world.
