Series for Advance laparoscopic surgeries for pancreatic diseases.

We team Surgical Gastroenterology ,Narayana speciality hospital & college happy to inform you that we have successfully treated a patient with pancreatic cancer with total laparoscopic whipples operation ( pancreatico duodenectomy) . This is one of the first cases in Andhra Pradesh to be done in total laparoscopic manner . Case details area as follows.

A 53-year-old female was diagnosed with periampullary malignancy, for which a Whipple procedure was required. This procedure is generally performed using an open approach. However, at our center, she underwent a totally laparoscopic Whipple procedure. She recovered well after surgery and was discharged on postoperative day seven on an oral diet.
