Providing viable health care ( picked up from other post)

In India,
People spending thousands every months for
paying premium of Car insurance
weekend outings
addictions (alcohol/Cigarettes/gutkha)
but never care for having a
health insurance to make
private sector expenses affordable.

Why such unhealthy mindset,
when health is an ultimate asset ahead of luxuries like cars?

Are discounts & freebies offered in Government health sector making people take health as granted &
making them reluctant
to spend for health
when necessary ?

People complain of private hospitals being very costly than Government ones.
Them why not have a health insurance & make it affordable?

Moreover,
If Government is incapable of delivering proper infrastructure in Government hospitals,
Shouldn't it make health insurance compulsory like Aadhaar so that people enjoy private hospitals treatment at affordable prices?
