Ram nath kovind sir
This is a MBBS student studying in **** medical college. I want to bring an issue to your notice, madam/sir. The NMC Bill has been passed in the Rajya Sabha, and Our Nation is going down today. We, the doctor fraternity, are fighting our best to stop the bill, but nothing is stopping it. But you can stop it sir,by not signing the bill And I wanted to ask you for your help to help us fight against it.
Why should you help us? Because,
Respected sir,
The First loophole of all is,
You will not know who's a qualified doctor anymore. In the future when someone is sick, your mom, your dad, your sister, your child, whoever that may be, you will not know if he's a qualified MBBS graduate or not. You will not be sure of the quality of the medical care you will be given. Why?
Because NMC bill allows Non-MBBS people such as Quacks(Rmp's), Nurses, Lab technicians, Compounders, and whatnot, to practice modern medicine. It might even add engineers to the list one day. It's not that we are against any of these people. It's just that it dilutes the quality of the medical care people get.
And probably, it may not affect the rich because, they would have money and exposure to approach a well educated professional who's an MBBS,MD, DM and what not. But the ignorant poor, who will have no economic support will go the Bridge course completed, well-known 10th fail turned doctor who will have no knowledge and suffer.
The POOR will suffer. If the patients end up in complications, he will then approach a professional MBBS graduated doctor, but it would be too late to save him.
And It's ANTI-POOR. Commercialization of the medical education seems to be it's motto. One day, in the future, a middle class or a lower middle class person will have to stop his child from choosing Medicine as his/her child's career because it would be too tough, too corrupted, too tiring, and after going through the cumbersome six years filled with internals, theory exams , practical exams, NEXT exam(put forward by the NMC bill!! Only God should understand what they mean by putting this exam), he/she is equal to a person who's nothing but a 10th fail who's done the bridge course.
I can go on and on about the loopholes of the bill. But I am ending it here.
All I want to say is, At the end, only the poor are the one's affected. Respected sir , I ask you, to stand with us, Today! Now! If you stand silent right now, then you'll be a supporter of this Tyrannical, Obscene, immoral, unethical Bill.
