Many women hesitate to talk about symptoms related to cervical cancer because of fear, stigma, or responsibilities at home. Thoughts like “Log kya kahenge?”, “Baad mein dekh lenge”, or “Treatment mehenga hoga” often delay medical consultation.

Through the Nidar Naari movement, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma Consultant Medical Oncologist at MOC Cancer Care and Research Centre encourages women to speak openly about their health and not ignore warning signs. Cervical cancer is largely preventable and treatable with early detection and regular screening.

Let’s support and empower women to choose health without hesitation.

We are proudly announcing a unique intiative- Conference on Onco-Fertility and Sexual Health- scheduled on 28th Feb and 1st March 2026, at S. P. Jain Auditorium, Mumbai.

This initiative seeks to highlight the under-recognised domains of sexual health and fertility preservation in patients with urological malignancies. Despite improving oncological outcomes, treatment planning often inadequately addresses the long-term impact on sexual function, reproductive potential, and quality of life. Many of these issues lie within a clinical grey zone, with limited representation in existing guidelines and a lack of robust evidence to guide practice. Through multidisciplinary engagement, this forum aims to stimulate discussion,
identify evidence gaps & foster consensus-driven, patient-tailored management approaches.

We appeal all the Urologists, Uro-Oncologists, Andrologists, Medical Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists and Nephrologists to attend this conference for latest updates around Onco-Fertility and Sexual Health.

MMC Points are available.

निडर नारी, सर्वाइकल कैंसर पे भारी

Nidar Naari is a representative female character that challenges the mentality of Indian women to give their health the least priority. She often ignores her symptoms and abnormal changes related to her cervical health / reproductive organs due to social stigma and fear.

What comes as a barrier to her right to healthy life?
• Social Stigma
• Fear of diagnosis
• Fear of Treatment Costs
• Societal Pressure- Fear of Being Judged
• Pressure of Family Responsibilities

A Nidar Naari listens to her body, reports symptoms early, chooses screening with confidence, and encourages HPV vaccination for herself and the next generation. Because cervical cancer is preventable- and awareness, timely screening, and open conversations can save lives.
