I Will India end up having a Muslim majority in the future? What will be the social, economical and political consequences if that happens?
Whether India becomes a Muslim country by 2050- Its highly unlikely considering the present trend as per latest research. Refer to the link below.
Even though Muslim population has shown significant growth in last few decades , however it has significantly slowed down in last decade. This has been due to increase in pe*******on to quality healthcare, education etc
With the current rate even if the population keeps on increasing it is falling far behind the majority Hindus in terms of percantge mix.
Hindus as per 2011 census are little less than 80%, where as Muslims are far behind at 14%
See Below, the gap has significantly reduced compared to previous decades between muslims and other religion.
The Total Fertility Rate (TFR) is falling faster in Muslims than in Hindus. In the National Family Health Survey (NFHS) 1 (1992-93), fertility numbers for Muslims and Hindus were 4.4 and 3.3, a gap of 1.1. In NFHS 2 (1998-99), the numbers for Muslims and Hindus fell to 3.59 and2.78, and the gap, therefore, to 0.8. And in NFHS 3 (2005-06), the numbers were 3.1 and 2.7; the gap 0.4.
Although these are mere statistical assumptions on the increase in population etc, we need to be cognizant of the fact that as a country are we able to sustain the increase in population that we see in the country
1. On an average we Indians add around 73000 people to the existing population, whereas we loose around 26000, that leads to a net addition of 47000 people, in a yr we add close to 20 million people to the existing 1.21 billion we already have.
2. India’s yearly birth rate is much higher than the entire population of Australia.
3. There are 445 million students in India, which equals the total population of Russia, Pakistan and Indonesia put together.
4. The population of India, at 1.21 billion as per the 2011 Census, is almost equal to the combined population of USA, Indonesia, Brazil, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Japan put together.
5. We are already putting a lot of stress on the existing infrastructure we have. Be it access to quality healthcare, education, clean drinking water, nutritional food, maternal health… the list goes on.
6. Massive population increase we are adding a considerable amount of youth to the existing list, straining employment opportunities,
7. The large cities we see became overcrowded due to migration from villages, small towns on search of employments/livelihood, putting further stress on the scrace and overutilized resource we see for the big cities, we are already seeing impact of this, be it Chennai floods, water problems in bangalore/ hyd etc.
8. Unncessary conflict of man to man due, man to animal due to increase of civilizaiton close to forest areas… the situation is going downhill over a period of time.
As a country what we would definitely need is a systematic and planned approach to tackle the issue of high population increase %, ensure we are able to provide quality life to the citizens… This is not about any specific group.. its about all of us… All of India.
India will not be Muslim country by 2050.
“According to Pew Research, India will have largest muslim population in the world, that is about 30 crores Muslims in 2050 on the basis of current growth rates of Muslim population in India.”
“But India might be a Muslim country after 2100 or more because:
1. Today, Hindus are mistreated in their own country because of lack of unity in them.
2. Today it has become fashion for so called Seculars (in fact Pseudo-Seculars) to mock Hinduism & Hindu deities as they know that Hindus are tolerant & divided (by different caste, cultures, regions and languages) so Hindus will never respond or oppose.
3. Hindus are ignored/discriminated by almost all political parties because Hindus are not “Vote-Banks “for them as Hindus have lack of unity. Hence all so called secular politicians have became Anti-Hindu while appeasing united minorities to get their votes.
4. Most media houses of India are owned by hindu-hater brigades of secular politicians so they cover only those news which support their Anti-Hindu propaganda. Hence media houses are biased in doing journalism. They are “Selective” in criticising the person or political parties or religious organisations.
5. Today Hindus are facing riots in most areas where Muslims are in majority. Hindus have become helpless in those areas due to direct support of state government to those rioters to appease them for votes. For eg.: West Bengal.
6. Today Hindus are either forcefully converted into Islam & Christianity or money is offered to poor Hindus for their religious conversion. Many organisations are working for it.
Congress Party is the one which has mostly cheated with Hindus in the name of Secularism.
One of the Pseudo-Secularism of the Congress Party:
Hindus after Independence got a Secular India where Muslims are getting “separate laws” and unnecessary subsidies. Is this Secularism?
All the Churches & Mosques are free from government's control then why Temples are under goverment's control? Is this Secularism? Why discriminations with Hindus?
Muslims have been provided special subsidies for pilgrimage and special budget for them while Hindus do not get these things.
Actually India is a Secular country only in Constitution but in reality India is not a Secular country but a minority appeasing country.
Hence if these discrimination with Hindus will not stop in future then India might be a Muslim country after 2100 or more.
India needs Uniform Civil Code to stop high growth rates of Muslim population, religious conversion and to bring equality in all Indians irrespective of religions.
Thanks.
