TRC is thrilled to collaborate with TNAI and Reach Digital Health in making available the WHO HealthAlert to the Nurses and Student nurses in India. With the HealthWorkerPLUS Module, nurses will have access to
Well-being Challenge – A short course introducing simple, science-backed stress management techniques to help nurses build resilience and maintain their well-being.
Fact Sheets – Quick-reference guides offering reliable, up-to-date information on key health topics such as diabetes, hypertension, occupational health, and misinformation.
Talk to Connect – A practical course on effective communication that helps nurses ask better questions, listen actively, and support patients in making informed health decisions.

Looking forward to a fruitful and meaningful coalition in caring for our carers!

Dear Healthcare Worker,

This World Mental Health Day, we want to encourage you to pause and reflect on how you have been lately. Are you well? While you undeniably experience moments of pressure, indecision or frustration, is it balanced with other moments of peace, joy and humor? Or are you feeling overwhelmed or burntout?

It is ok to not be ok! It is ok to need a break or rest. And better yet, it is ok to reach out and ask for help.

Don't let the stigma you fear or the weight of your responsibilities keep your from the help that you need to be well!

This Mental Health Month, we focus on building a supportive work environment for our fellow HCWs.

The final step of caring for a fellow Healthcare Worker is to check in on them, in a few days' time. Ask if they’ve found a better way to manage the situation. If they haven’t done anything, keep encouraging them and remind them you’re always there if they need a chat. Understand that sometimes it can take a long time for someone to be ready to see a professional. You could ask, “Do you think it would be useful if we looked into finding some professional or other support?”

Be Patient. Be Present.

This conversation could change a life.

This Mental Health Month, we focus on building a supportive work environment for our fellow HCWs.

Ask them: “Where do you think we can go from here?” or “What would be a good first step we can take?”
If you have the capacity to extend continued support, you could ask, “What do you need from me? How can I help?"
Other good options for action might include talking to family, a trusted friend, their doctor or an Employee Assistance Program.

This conversation could change a life.

This Mental Health Month, we focus on building a supportive work environment for our fellow HCWs.

Step 2 in helping your fellow HCW who might be in need is to Listen. Really Listen. Take what they say seriously and encourage them to explain further. If they get angry or upset, stay calm and don’t take it personally. Let them know you’re asking because you’re concerned.

This conversation could change a life.

This Mental Health Month, we focus on building a supportive work environment for our fellow HCWs. Over the last couple of weeks if you have noticed changes in physical appearance, mood, behavior or expression of though in a HCW you work with, start a conversation with them.

Choose a relaxed time and setting and ask them simple questions, “How you doing?” or “I’ve noticed that you’re not quite yourself lately. What’s been happening?” Mention specific things that have made you concerned for them.

This conversation that you start could change a life.

The TRC team in collaboration with the ADK Hospital in Malé, Maldives engaged in a wonderfully enriching exercise with the hospital's incredible frontline healthcare workers (HCWs), earlier this month. It helped TRC gain further insight into the challenges HCWs face every day. The exercise also gave us the opportunity to explore together, the organic and creative ways in which the HCWs have and could prepare themselves to cope with stress and burnout.

The TRC team is deeply grateful to Ahmed Afaal (MD) and the management of the Hospital, Adeel Shareef (Director, Strategy and Innovation at ADK and TRC Member), Aminath Rishfa (Head nurse and patient educator), Niuma (Senior Manager, Customer Services) and all the HCWs that made it a meaningful and insightful exercise.

This interaction was part of an extended exercise to validate TRC’s Toolkit and Facilitation Guide for Frontline Teams to Design Interventions to Strengthen Their Well-Being.
