The month of January every year is observed as "Cervical Cancer Awareness" month.
Most of us are not aware of this form of Cancer which is found prevalent in females of age group 15 -45 years.This is caused by a virus which attacks the lower end of the uterus. Last year in 2022,around 77000 females in India died of this. It is largely preventable via vaccination given in 3 doses over a period of time to the females falling in the above age bracket.
I'm not a doctor and as such , my post should not be construed as a medical advice.I'm merely endeavouring to spread awareness about this form of Cancer. Please consult your family doctor or a gyaneacologist and do the needful as required. As per information available on the internet the vaccine is available free of cost in Government hospitals . Please join me in spreading awareness .

Hi all.....it's urgent to manage our resources ,which are so very limited for our use only not to talk of our coming generations. It might seem offline but here I'm asking n wanting to share your ideas of how at our end are we trying to do something? We all have the awareness -use less plastic, not to waste water, walk short distances to save fuel etc etc but the question is how many of us are coming out of our comfort zone n doing something which really is ,in the real sense helping us manage our resources n what little are we doing to protect the environment at our, individual level. Let's share and contribute even a small measure that we r taking. It would be a good learning from each other.

a part of this mission and on a monthly basis collects plastic waste n hands it over to a recycling agency...Feeling proud to be incharge of this great social endeavour...A very small group of 20 members though but we manage to collect 30-35kg of waste every month n recycle it apart from Composting of the kitchen waste ..A big Thank you to all the members n three cheers....
