Q.1: Whether I need to do exercises with this kind of diet?
A.1: Exercise is necessary part of losing weight and good for relaxation of your mind , if you don’t do it currently we recommend you before you begin exercise programe start slowly and gradually increase time spent on activity we don’t tell to go for strenuous gyming in the diet programme but its recommended to do physical activity(25-30mins)in any form like walk, swimming , dancing, etc to increase your metabolism.
Q.2: How much I am going to reduce in a month?
A.2: Weight loss depend upon person to person and on different factors like gender ,disease condition ,age etc for eg male lose faster than females and rate of wgtloss is slower with elderly persons.
Q.3: Is there any guarantee of weight loss?
A.3: Weight loss differ for every person so there is no guarantee given.
Q.4. I have to sociallised /travel a lot will I be able to follow this kind of diet?
A.4: Ofcourse yes ,prior information should be given so that lunches and dinners can be planned accordingly by the dieticians.
Q.5: Do you give any kind of food supplement also?
A.5: Our progrmme is based on simple home cooked food,we don’t prescribe any kind of supplementation.
Q.6: Will I be able to lose inches from my thighs and hips?
A.6: With the weight loss ,inch loss will automatically take place which will be from all over the body.
Q.7: I enjoy my alcohol at night every day, will I have to totally avoid that?
A.7: Alcohol can be taken but in restricted quantity and will let you know which drink to go for according to your body type.
Q.8: I don’t have to buy expensive diet food products?
A.8: It’s the simple home cooked food that is healthy and nutritious also.
Q.9: Is eating sweet or chocolate that bad for health?
A.9: A little bit of almost anything is not that bad however some ingredients in chocolates /sweet are harmful for health and sugar supplies just empty calories.
Q.10: After delivery of the baby, from when I can start weight loss programme?
A.10: It takes 3-4 mths for the body to come up to its normal function as lot of hormonal imbalances has been taken place inside.
Q.11: I feel very thirsty so instead of normal Soft Drinks should I opt for diet soft drinks ?how safe are they?
A.11: Its better to avoid diet drinks, as they don’t give any nutritional supplement plus they have aspartame-containing sugar free( which in long run not good for health),you can opt for buttermilk,juices,freshlime,yogurt,coconutwater.
Q.12: What can I do about a weight loss platue?
A.12: Plateaus can occur at different times for different people they normally happen as body is attempting to stabilise on that weight, once its stable it will allow your weight to drop again .if you experience plateau, look for other positive changes like smaller size clothing, weight loss will resume If you continue to follow the programme.
Q.13: Any side effect of diets?
A.13: Most of patients feel energized and better than prior to starting programme, some symptoms (if you are reducing more than 10 kgs) like slight weakness can be experienced temporary.
Q.14: Will I be able to maintain the loss?
A.14 After achieving your target weight, it is very important to be regular with physical activity at least for 25-30 minutes for 5-6 days a week, along with this we will be providing certain tips so that you should be in shape forever.
Q.15 Does starvation helps in reducing weight?
A.15 Not always, coz sometime with the starving diet, you tend to bloat up rather then feeling light, and people who reduce weight with very low cal diet,wont be able maintain that weight for long time, so its always advisable to go in for gradual loss.
