*Do you know how insights develop in oneself?*
Read the story of Dattatreya, son of Anasuya.
Dattatreya was a young boy, when he was walking the King observed that the boy has a divine energy around him.
King asked the young boy Dattatreya, "Who is your Guru?”,
Dattatreya said, “I have 24 Gurus and nature is the greatest guru."
The King thought it is a metaphor.
When he went and met Dattatreya, who was residing under a Tree.
King found flower was Guru, birds were his master, and the whole existence was his master.
He named 24 elements and creatures as his Guru.
King asked Dattatreya, “How can a flower be a Guru?”.
Dattatreya replied.
“When I observed the flower, a new understanding arose.
Look at this flower, garbage is put as fertilizer.
But the flower has the alchemy to take the garbage and give out unconditional fragrance to whoever goes near it.
Therefore, if I can learn from the flower when bad things happen to good people, they become better and not bitter.
How Dattatreya did not get lost in his own thoughts, but he surrendered and observed, learned, and accepted nature as his Guru.
One should surrender to Guru who will guide you to understand, transform and transcend the mind.
Let's honor all Gurus on Auspicious Guru Poornima.
