When flood came,we cry to get out of our houses because we physically saw a danger coming..
When corona came we are reluctant to sit inside our houses because we don't physically see the danger... We only believe what we see through our eyes.... Now our enemy is invisible so we cannot percieve it through eyes... Here we must sharpen our ears to the expert advises and follow it to get out of this situation

There are many videos circulating in social medias explaining about different herbal 'TIPS' to boost up Immunity and many of them are in the name of our ancient wisdom.
How far we can rely on those stuffs?

Many of them are not genuine. All herbal explanations you get on social medias cannot be considered as Ayurveda.

An Ayurvedic diagnosis, and subsequent treatments are made not only on the disease level (called roga), but also on the patient level (called rogi). Only a qualified Ayurveda doctor can treat the ROGI in you. So my suggestion is to go to an ayurveda cunsultation before jumping in to these TIPS.

Face coverings are mandatory in public areas, but we sometimes see people without them. There's still much to learn about this new disease, and it may take some time to bring effective treatments or vaccines that can make it safe to return to normal. Until then, wearing masks or cloth face coverings has been shown to help

Sometimes when you drive your car, there are chances like other drivers can make choices that put you in danger... similarly....
there’s a chance you could hit another driver and cause an accident...so...everybody must keep vigil...

This is applicable for covid fighting too... So please wear all gears and obey rules..by which we can clean our country from this dreadful virus.

I have to say some words to all those mask haters... Dear friends..Wearing a mask does seem to give me some protection. But mostly, I wear my mask to protect you and other people I care about."

RITHU CHARYA
Ritu, the season, classified by different features expresses different effects on the body as well as the environment. Ayurveda has depicted various rules and regimens (Charya), regarding diet and behavior to acclimatize seasonal enforcement easily without altering body homeostasis.

Seasonal regimens main aim was to prevent diseases due to seasonal derangement of doshas. Hence Rutucharya is one of the ways to be in sync with ever-changing nature and being healthy all at the same time.

According to Ayurveda, 2 months make one Ritu, we have 6 Ritus, unlike western seasons which are 4 i.e. Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn.

6 Ritus are –

Sisira – winter

Vasantha – Spring

Greeshma – Summer

Varsha – Rainy

Sarath – Autumn

Hemantha – Early winter

The first three Ritus are together called as Adaana kaala and next three together called as visarga kaala

There is a gradual decrease of balaṃ (physical strength or immunity due to the seasonal effect) during Adaanakaala and gradual increase of physical strenght during Visarga kaala

There occur some special changes in environment and humans in every Ritu and hence certain foods and exercises are specifically told for each Ritu, this process is called as Ritucharya

Following these seasonal regimens appropriately without deviating from classics, individuals can stay healthy and blissfully, further one can prevent the diseases concerned to season

There is a chapter called “Janapada Dvamsa Vyadhi”, which means epidemics. There Charaka says this is a great opportunity to be here at home.

Charaka advocates to follow DINACHARYA(good daily routines)
1)Wake up early in the morning
2)Brush you teeth.
3)Scrape your tongue 4)Rinse your mouth with warm water
5)Drink hot or warm water.
6)Take tea prepared with ginger, cinnamon, cardamom OR Tea made with tulsi (holy basil, one or two leaves), or mint, cinnamon and cardamom tea. These herbal teas boost energy.
Try to keep your agni (digestion)strong and, to do that, follow your dinacharya. It is the first important thing that Ayurveda recommends.

Ayurveda to corner CORONA

Ayurveda's basic textbook, Charaka Samhita's vimana sthana, describes the epidemiological and preventive measures and the preparations for the medical community

The severity of symptoms depends on the patient's age, health status, and related illnesses.

Maintaining Ayurvedic routine, and hygiene, gives a strong natural immunity which helps to fight the disease and reduce the severity of symptoms. This requires a light nutritious diet, and complete rest along with medicines.

Drink warm water all through the day in small quantities. The cold foods will suppress your agni (digestive fire, digestive capacity) and exposure to cold will diminish your natural resistance. For that reason, try to avoid the cold food
Sip warm water throughout the day or while eating food; put a little ginger in the water and make a hot ginger tea that is excellent.

Practice the yogic procedures like Yogasanas, Pranayama and Meditation for about 30 minutes a day.
Make use of the spices including Turmeric, Cumin, Coriander and Garlic

Ayurveda recommends a medicine called Chyavanaprasham which improves immunity. This medicine can be taken only after careful analysis done by a qualified Ayurveda doctor.

Ayurveda has a lot of anti-inflammatory drugs. Immunomodulation benefits of over 80 Ayurvedic medicines have been proven by modern scientific experiments. These include ashwagandha and triphala

Along with thus adhere to the guidelines on Personal hygiene, hand hygiene and sicial distancing suggested by WHO.

All together as a team we can fight and CORNER this enemy called CORONA..
