The University Grants Commission has announced that courses like psychology, nutrition, dietetics, microbiology, and healthcare sciences cannot be offered through online or distance mode.

As a qualified Dietitian, I feel this is an important move 🙌. Nutrition and dietetics require years of study, clinical exposure, and practical experience. Short-term online certifications can never replace the depth of knowledge and training that professionals gain over 5+ years of rigorous education.

This decision not only safeguards the credibility of our profession but also protects the public from misguided advice. ✅
