Nose bleeds can be troublesome at times, particularly in children and elderly. Identifying the bleeder with the help of nasal endoscope and achieving hemostasis by means of electrocautery/ chemical cauterisation is the key.
Chemical cauterisation is an OPD procedure to control bleeding. A very efficient method which can stop nasal bleed/epistaxis like magic.

क्यू-टिप्स, माचिस की तीली, हेयर पिन आदि से अपने कानों को साफ़ करना खतरनाक हो सकता है।

मध्य कान से टूटी हुई माचिस की तीली निकालने का एक वीडियो साझा कर रहा हूँ। मरीज़ इस बात से पूरी तरह अनजान थी कि इस टूटी हुई माचिस की तीली ने उसके कान के परदे को छेद दिया है और इसका असर मध्य कान पर हो रहा है। उसे दुर्गंधयुक्त स्राव और एक सप्ताह तक दर्द की शिकायत हुई।

Sharing a video of removal of a broken match-stick from the middle ear. The patient was totally unaware about this broken match-stick having perforated her ear drum and getting impacted in the middle ear. She presented with foul smelling discharge and pain of 1 week duration.

A live insect dancing over the ear-drum. The patient was screaming in pain on arrival. Removed under endoscopic guidance.
