65-year-old lady came to opd with a full-thickness macular hole and vision of finger counting at 1 meter.
Performed pars plana vitrectomy with ILM peeling and fluid–gas exchange.

At 3 weeks post-surgery, her vision improved to 6/60, and OCT confirmed Type 1 macular hole closure 👁️
Grateful for a successful outcome and the steady visual recovery ahead! 🙏

Today on occasion of Patient's Safety day, delivered talk on retinal diseases in neonates at Manipal hospital Ranchi. It was quite surprising to realise many patients were of aware of diseases, I only explained them how to prevent them, what are necessary steps to be taken if you have to encounter those problems.
PS: On lighter note, 2nd images: Audience gave me extra clapping bcoz after finishing my fellowship at LVPEI Hyderabad, I came back to Ranchi to serve my people
