There’s a lot of noise online—but here’s the truth: Sunscreens are NOT harmful.
Modern formulations are rigorously tested, dermatologically approved, and designed to protect, not damage.

What actually harms your skin? Unprotected UV exposure—leading to tanning, pigmentation, premature ageing, sunburn, and increased cancer risk.

Choose a sunscreen that suits your skin type, apply enough, and reapply.
Healthy skin is sun-protected skin.

So just by simple steps - Men can have their best versions.

Slugging can work wonders for dry skin — but it’s NOT for everyone.
It's good for dry xerotic skin/ someone with atopic dermatitis or post peel or laser dryness.

But if you have acne prone skin, or seborrheic dermatitis or active infections slugging can trap heat, bacteria, and inflammation, leading to severe irritation or flare-ups.

Always know your skin type before trying trending skincare.
Your barrier needs care, not damage.

GLUTATHIONE — FACTS YOU NEED TO KNOW
Glutathione isn’t magic — it’s a natural antioxidant your body already produces.
It protects cells, supports liver detoxification, and helps fight oxidative stress.
But when it’s marketed as a “fairness treatment”, that’s where myths begin.

Glutathione Creams / Face Washes: Scientifically ineffective — the molecule is too large to be absorbed through skin. No clinical evidence of “skin whitening”.The little lightening caused can be because of other actives with it

Oral Glutathione: Partly absorbed in the gut — results vary widely person to person. If effective, visible change takes 5–6 months or longer of continuous use. Expensive, results are not permanent — fade after stopping.
Works better alongside Vitamin C, balanced diet, hydration & sunscreen.

IV Glutathione (Injections)
Not FDA-approved for skin lightening. Temporary results — fade once infusions are stopped. Sessions are usually 7–10 days apart, with results (if any) seen after 4–6 sittings.

Before Starting Glutathione, Always Rule Out:
Liver or kidney disease
Hormonal disorders
Vitamin or mineral deficiencies (esp. B12, folate)
Allergies or chronic infections.

Dermatologist’s Note
Your skin tone is not a flaw.
Glutathione is an antioxidant, not a fairness drug.
If you’re considering it, do so safely, ethically, and with realistic expectations.
Healthy, glowing skin >>> fair skin. ❤️

Using Minoxidil but not seeing the best results?
Follow these 3 steps:

1️⃣ Derma-roller (0.25–0.5 mm) – Safest for scalp. Always disinfect with isopropyl alcohol before & after use, avoid infected areas, and don’t press too hard.

2️⃣ Stick to FDA-approved Minoxidil ( as prescribed by your Dermat)– The only clinically proven topical for hair regrowth. Consistency = results!

3️⃣ Scalp massagers are optional – They can boost blood flow but aren’t essential.

Heard of Chemical Peel but not sure what it is? Let’s break it down 👇”

“Chemical peel = A dermatological procedure where a chemical solution is applied to exfoliate the skin, remove dead cells, and stimulate new skin growth.”

🔹 Types (by Depth):

Superficial Peel – Gentle exfoliation, glow, acne, no downtime.

Medium Depth Peel – Targets pigmentation, acne scars, uneven tone. Few days recovery.

Deep Peel – For wrinkles, photoaging, severe damage. Long downtime but dramatic results.

💧 Moisturize + stay hydrated
🙅 Avoid scrubs, retinoids, actives for a week
🚫 Never DIY at home

❌ Cons:

Downtime (varies by depth)

Burns/scarring risk if unsupervised

Not for pregnant/sensitive skin

⚕️ Disclaimer:
“Always do chemical peels under supervision of a dermatologist.”

PRP vs GFC – Which one’s right for you?

✨ PRP – Trusted for years, uses your own blood’s platelets to heal, boost hair & skin naturally. Results vary but it works!
✨ GFC – The advanced upgrade: purified growth factors only → less pain, faster recovery, more consistent outcomes.

Both have their place. One is the classic, the other is the future 🚀

Spit for Acne? Big NO! Here’s the truth 👇

Why people believe it:

🧪 Enzymes (amylase, lipase) – break down food in the mouth.

🛡 Antimicrobial proteins – lysozyme, lactoferrin, peroxidase

⚖ Mild acidity – “might kill bacteria” myth

Why it’s bad for you:

🎯 Wrong target – acne bacteria (C. acnes) lives deep in pores, saliva can’t reach

🦠 Mouth microbes -around 700+ (Streptococcus, E.coli) → infection risk

🔥 Enzymes can irritate inflamed skin

📉 ZERO clinical studies support it

Saliva = for chewing & digestion, not dissolving your acne
Stick to proven acne fighters — benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, retinoids, prescribed meds.

“The Insect That Doesn't Bite But Burns- PEDRUS"

Paederus dermatitis, commonly mistaken for a burn or herpes, is a skin reaction caused not by an insect bite—but by contact with a rove beetle (Paederus).

The beetle doesn’t sting or bite. It releases pedrin, a potent chemical, when crushed against the skin. This leads to sudden redness, burning, and blistering—often with a ‘kissing lesion’ pattern where skin folds touch.

🦟 Seen more during monsoon, especially at night.
🔥 Looks like burns, feels like fire.
⚠️ Don’t crush the bug—flick it off gently!- if you see it
🧴 Treat with topicals antibiotics+ calamine lotions.

If symptoms persist consult a Dermatologist.
