Washing your hands with soap is a useful way to get rid of any potential virus particles you may have gotten in contact with whiles going around. The SARS-CoV-2 virus consists of RNA fragment (genetic code) in a package of protein and fat that protects the genome. Fats are easily dissolved in soap, hence by washing your hands with soap, you are physically breaking down the virus to a point where it can no longer do its job, infect and transmit. So, keep washing your hands regularly as it really helps to limit the spread of the virus.
