You have received this mail since you subscribe to the Game of Sailing.
This is about a community of people who want to Race, Sail, Kite Surf, Kayak, Eat, Drink, Make Merry ... Goan Style !
The dates to race the above regatta are Friday, Saturday and Sunday (26-28 April 2013).

1) Who's Coming?
From this hemisphere (North of Kundakulam and South of Pulicat) there seem to be 8 to 10 helms that have confirmed - this include Avanti, Vir, Asif, Durga, Zephra, Avinash, Amit, Vivek, Ishtiaq, Navaz, Samaria, Vivek, Suheim, ...
Tentative respondents are - the Rekhi's, Garmins, Reddys, Sundu's, Mirajkers, Sailing Coaches, Lecturers and Yoga teachers, Rohan S, The Harley Team ...
Volunteers to date are: Parveen, Sajida, Sabita, Paula, Charminar....
Kite Surfer and Kayak wala: A paan wala from Mandwa is showing up with Kite Board equipment and Kayaks ... to teach, experiment, sail ....
Beach Catamarans from Kerala - this is a possibility and may be available for demo and use.
The intimation to "Come And Race" is open to every sailor ... country/state of origin, caste, creed, age, s*x ... no bar. This is a volunteer driven event ... the flow of ideas and information is in the trailing mail. The volunteers (NOT ORGANIZERS) guarantee/promise/commit/confirm NOTHING except Tea and Batata Wada to those who register in time ...
2) What is the fleet ?
It could include the:
Walker Bays (coming from Madras)
Sea Birds
Omega's (from Madras)
Kite Boards (Mandwa)

Laser Pico
Optimist
Toppers (Goa)
Yachts....
3) Stay ?
Amit is staying at the Bogmallo Beach Resort. There are several hotels (Joe Ed's), shacks and options on this beach to suit every pocket and customer. Martin's Bar is walking distance away and has a Goan, Russian and Indian cuisine with the most attractive Pool Table and Bar.
Students (unaccompanied by their parents) are staying with "sailing parents" Sabita and Navaz (near a western style toilet).
4) Who's likely to be there in Goa ?
Gd: Got a barge 45 minutes from Vasco to barge by road. One race can be from Vasco to the barge - this will be an "Off Shore" race I believe.
Millind: What a great idea to do night sailing .... love this plan. It's a full moon on 25/04/2013.
Amar Gore: The man with a sea bird - can you take 4 crew ?
Topper Kids: 10 boats and a few kids who may also race with the BYOB lot.
5) NOR ?
Day 1: 4 races back to back using the Ports Mouth handicap.
Day 2: 4 races back to back using the Pursuit Racing Model ?
Sunday: 4 races ...
Can there be NO PRINCIPAL RACE OFFICE : The O.O.D (officer of the day) will set the course and run the races?

The face book page set up by volunteer no: 1 has a Registration Sheet - please register your interest.
Early registration is a better way to avoid long queues in the Batata Wada line and to WIN A BYOB Coffee Mug!
Registration Fees: This is a cash less regatta. You can pay the O.O.D / The Rescue Team / Max Yasgur in Iddlies, Cokes, French Fries, Beers, Urak, Fenny, ...
7) Prizes, Medals, Certificates ?
