“When love hurts, it can be the hardest truth to accept.” 💭

Not all pain looks loud.
Sometimes it’s subtle —
in the constant criticism,
the “you’re too sensitive,”
the love that feels conditional.

You may not have had the words for it then…
but your experience was real.

If you grew up feeling like you had to earn love,
walk on eggshells,
or carry emotions that were never yours to hold —
you weren’t “too much.”

You were adapting to survive. 🤍

And even now, if it still affects your self-worth, relationships, or sense of safety…
that doesn’t make you weak.
It makes you human. 🌿

Healing doesn’t start with blame.
It starts with understanding.

You don’t have to do it alone.

“They called you strong…
but no one noticed you were carrying everything alone.”

You were the one who didn’t cry too loud.
The one who adjusted.
The one who understood… even when no one understood you.

So you learned to stay quiet, stay composed, stay “strong.”

But strength was never meant to feel like loneliness. 💭

You were not too sensitive.
You were just unseen, unheard, and unsupported.

And now, as you grow—
it’s okay to unlearn that role.
It’s okay to need people.
It’s okay to be held. 🤍

You don’t have to carry everything by yourself anymore.

Your healing is valid.
And you were never “too much.” 🌿

Still think it was “just a comment”?

Sometimes the things we hear every day — at the dining table, at family gatherings, or even as a “joke” — can quietly become body shaming.

“Are you really going to eat all of that?”
“Thodi moti hogayi ho.”
“Wow you’ve lost weight, you look amazing!”
“It was just a joke, don’t be so sensitive.”

These statements may seem casual, but words have impact.
And over time, they shape how people see themselves.

Your body is not up for discussion.
Not at the dinner table.
Not at family reunions.
Not in the name of humour.

Because thin ≠ healthy, and appearance ≠ worth.

At Trijog – Know Your Mind, we believe conversations around body image, self-worth, and mental wellbeing matter.
Let’s create spaces where people feel respected, safe, and body-positive. 🌿

If body shaming has ever affected you, know that your feelings are valid and support is always available.

“It was just a joke.”
But the mind remembers it differently.

One small comment. One laugh. One moment in a group photo.
And suddenly, someone goes home questioning their body, their appearance, their worth.

What may feel like a casual joke to one person can quietly turn into self-doubt, comparison, and body shame for another.

Because words don’t just disappear after they’re said —
sometimes they stay in someone’s mind long after the moment has passed.

Before commenting on someone’s body, pause.
Kindness costs nothing, but its impact can mean everything. 🌿

Your body is not a punchline.
Your worth is never measured by size.

“Women from good homes don’t behave like this.”

Sometimes, all she did was laugh. 🌼
But suddenly, joy became something that needed justification.

Many women grow up navigating the invisible rules of “how they should behave.”
Be quieter.
Be calmer.
Be less expressive.
Be more acceptable.

And somewhere between these expectations, a woman can begin to question even the most natural parts of herself. 💭

But laughter is not disrespect.
Freedom is not rebellion.
And expressing yourself is not something you should ever have to apologize for. 🌿✨

Every woman deserves a space where she can exist fully — without shrinking her happiness.
