Many men worry when their semen analysis shows a “low count,” but most do not know what the numbers actually mean. A proper semen test must be reported by a trained embryologist or an IVF-unit professional following the latest WHO 6th edition guidelines.

According to these standards, a normal count requires at least 16 million s***m per ml, and healthy motility must be above 32%. Morphology (normal forms) should be 4% or more.
Anything below these values is considered a low count and may affect fertility.

Understanding your semen report correctly is the first step toward proper treatment. With accurate testing and timely medical guidance, most fertility issues can be managed effectively.

Infertility is never a “woman’s problem” — it always begins with evaluating the couple together.
When a patient walks in, the first step is understanding the complete medical history of both partners. This helps identify lifestyle factors, hormonal issues, or past conditions that may affect fertility.

Next, routine blood tests, ultrasound scans to assess uterus and ovaries, and tube testing (HSG/SIS) help us understand the female reproductive system thoroughly.
If required, we recommend hysteroscopy or laparoscopy to get a clear view of the uterus, tubes, and pelvic structures.

Early evaluation gives clarity, direction, and the right treatment — helping couples move toward pregnancy with confidence and the right guidance.

Many men assume they’re healthy until they struggle to conceive — but male fertility issues often show no obvious symptoms.
Even when everything looks normal, s***m quality may be affected without your knowledge.

However, certain signs can be early warnings:
⚠️ Sudden weight gain
⚠️ Smoking & alcohol increase
⚠️ Newly diagnosed diabetes
⚠️ Low interest or er****on problems
⚠️ Testicular swelling, pain, or visible veins
⚠️ Discomfort in the sc***um

If you notice any of these changes, a simple check-up and semen analysis can detect problems early — and early treatment always gives better results.

Did you know that poor sleep can directly affect male fertility and sexual performance?
Lack of sleep increases stress and cortisol, the hormone that suppresses testosterone. This leads to low interest, poor er****ons, reduced s***m quality, and long-term fertility issues.

But here’s the good news — just 7–8 hours of undisturbed sleep can naturally boost testosterone, improve er****ons, reduce stress, and enhance s***m health.

🌙 Better sleep = better hormones = better performance.
Take your sleep seriously — your reproductive health depends on it.

Most couples feel confused about what happens during an infertility consultation. Here’s the truth: evaluation always starts with the couple — not just the woman.

During the first visit, doctors:
✔ take a detailed medical and lifestyle history
✔ check essential fertility-related blood tests
✔ perform an ultrasound to assess uterus & ovaries
✔ ensure both fallopian tubes are open
✔ advise HSG/SIS to confirm tubal patency
✔ recommend hysteroscopy or laparoscopy only if required

Understanding these steps helps couples make informed decisions and start the right treatment at the right time.
