*Deputy Commissioner Poonch reviews the Aspirational Block Development Program;(ABDP)*
*Poonch:June:15,2024* :Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Yasin M. Choudhary (IAS), chaired meeting to review the progress made under the Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP) in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Deputy Commissioner, Sandesh Kumar Sharma, PO ICDS, Khalid Hussain Wafa, DSEO, Javid, CPO, Mohd Rafi, CMO, Dr.Zulafkar Ahmed, CEO Education, Bishamber Dass, ACD Shafiq Mir, CAO, Rakesh Sharma, CHO, Sanjeev Kumar, besides CDPO's, Xens, AEE, JE's and other concerned were present.
The meeting, held in the conference hall of the DC office, brought together key stakeholders to discuss the scheme wise advancements in the aspirational blocks. The Deputy Commissioner delved deep into the status of critical areas such as child nutrition, pregnant women supplementary nutrition, deworming of Madrasas & others institutions, broadband connectivity, girls' toilet facilities in schools, electrification of unserved areas and various block related issues were discussed.
In the meeting, Ajaz Ahmed, the ABPF Mankote, presented a comprehensive overview in the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner took stock of the Key performance Indicators (KPIs) set forth by the NITI Aayog, and also discussed the Block Development Strategy, its interventions, and the current status.
Emphasizing the need for targeted action, the Deputy Commissioner directed all the officials to work tirelessly to achieve the saturation of 6 targeted KPIs including; .
*1* .The percentage of pregnant women registered for Antenatal Care(ANC) within the first trimester,
2.The percentage of people screened for diabetes against the targeted population in the block,
3.Percentage of person screened for Hypertension against targeted population in the block
4.A percentage of pregnant women taking supplementary nutrition under the ICDS programme regularly,
5.percentage of soil health cards generated against soil sample collection target,
6.Percentage of SHGs that have received revolving funds against total SHGs in the block.
To this end, a dedicated campaign will be launched from July 1st, 2024, to September 30th, 2024, to ensure the district's steady progress towards its development goals.
