As a working professional you know that you want to achieve certain numbers in your life, it can be a money goal, building assets and fulfilling your dreams.

But analysing health in terms of weight is not the right method.

Numbers like I want to reach 50, 60 or 80 kgs just so I can come in a healthy BMI range or weight as per your height.

BMI method is flawed and it will continue for many years

But you don't need to completely rely on BMI.

Improving body composition in terms of appropriate muscle mass, fat mass is a healthy way to identify health.

For internal health you can rely on blood reports.

Meet my client Prajakta, she is a working professional from Canada.

Before joining my program, Prajakta tried various diets but due to lack of results, she ended up being discouraged and used chocolates as a friend to reduce the stress and all this led to weight gain.

Looking at this problem she reached out to me and on the first call she understood her mistakes while trying to lose weight and enrolled under my program.

This is why you are not losing fat.

I have spoken with more than 500 people personally on call and I know their biggest pain point.

It is โ€œEven after trying various diet plans they are not able to lose fat permanentlyโ€

You gain weight back once you go off the diet or even eat a few days here and there on your vacation. You put on weight easily whereas it takes months and years to see those small changes in their body.

Now, you feel scared to even try cutting down your food as you know you will get results initially but it is not a sustainable way where you can manage your work life and stay hungry at the same time.

If you are someone in the 28-40 age bracket, you know what Iโ€™m trying to say.

Fulfilling your own dreams, and daily expenses, having a kid, spending time with your family and excelling in your job while staying hungry feels impossible.

You think you can not focus on two or more things at the same time, and most often you donโ€™t care about your health at present.

You think at present I will spend most of my time earning money by doing the job and later I will focus on my health.

When it comes to losing weight/fat, some people are so obsessed with the timings of the meal.

Somehow they think having dinner at 6 PM in the evening will help them to lose weight quickly.

As the sun sets, you should not eat food.

It's so illogical and funny at the same time, to see people torturing themselves whereas the other people of their family are enjoying their food late at night.

Any food you say has a certain nutritional value and timing won't matter.

If you overeat before 6 PM then it's unlikely that you will lose weight.

If you eat in a calorie deficit and finish your meal before 6 PM then you will lose weight

And even if you eat at 2 AM in the night and you are in a calorie deficit then you will lose weight.

You just need to be in a deficit state and rest is not that important.

Simple!!

When it comes to timings of the meal, your pre and post workout meal can definitely help you with the performance but it won't directly help you with fat loss or weight loss.
