The focus is on what we do and how much we get done.

But rarely do we pause to ask:

👉 Why am I doing this?
👉 What’s the purpose behind this effort?

When we bring intention into our actions — we shift from mindless doing to purposeful living 🪴.

A class won’t be priced in lakhs, but what truly matters is:

Ever wish you had a reset button for stress? Turns out, you do! It’s called ➡️ the vagus nerve, and yoga can activate it. ✨

The vagus nerve plays a key role in relaxation, digestion, and overall well-being. Certain yoga poses and breathwork stimulate it, shifting your body into the parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) state.

Yoga Poses to Stimulate the Vagus Nerve:
1️⃣ Child’s Pose (Balasana) – Encourages deep breathing, gently stimulating the vagus nerve.
2️⃣ Bridge Pose (Setu Bandhasana) – Opens the chest and improves vagal tone.
3️⃣ Legs Up the Wall (Viparita Karani) – Increases blood flow, reduces stress, and soothes the nervous system.
4️⃣ Cat-Cow Pose (Marjaryasana-Bitilasana) – Syncs movement with breath, promoting nervous system balance.
5️⃣ Fish Pose (Matsyasana) – Expands the throat and chest, enhancing vagus nerve function.
6️⃣ Twisting Poses (e.g., Supine Spinal Twist, Bharadvajasana) – Massage the abdominal organs, directly connected to the vagus nerve.
7️⃣ Savasana (Co**se Pose) – The ultimate relaxation pose for full vagal activation.

Breathwork for Vagus Nerve Activation:
🌬 Diaphragmatic Breathing – Deep belly breathing stimulates the vagus nerve.
🫁 Ujjayi Breath (Ocean Breath) – Slight throat constriction enhances vagal activity.
🔄 Alternate Nostril Breathing (Nadi Shodhana) – Balances the nervous system.
📉 Extended Exhalation – Longer exhales activate the vagus nerve and signal relaxation.

But the society we live in often clouds our judgment. 🌍 It pushes us to stop thinking for ourselves and instead look for clues around us. If you’re surrounded by mothers who are celebrated for being good daughters-in-law first, you might feel pressured to follow that path. 🤷‍♀️ On the other hand, if you see mothers prioritizing their children’s growth above all else, you may feel compelled to emulate them. 👩‍👧‍👦

Weight gain doesn’t happen overnight. ⏳ You may not notice it day by day, but if you look back after 3, 6 months, or even a year, you’ll see the difference. 👀 Think about how you looked 5 years ago compared to now! 📸

It’s a gradual process, and it catches up with you if you’re not mindful. ⚖️

Do you think losing weight is a one-time event? 🤔 We often hear, “I want to lose weight” or “Can yoga help with weight loss?” 🧘‍♀️
