Dr. Ashwin Porwal (born on June 30, 1979) of Maharashtra, India, set a record for curing the longest 110cm long fistula. He, and his team, operated on a patient on May 10, 2019, who was diagnosed with complex horse shoe fistula extending below knee Joint at Healing Hands Clinic, Pune. Dr Porwal’s innovative sphincter saving DLPL laser surgery took 4hrs from 15:00 hrs to 19:00 hrs . Patient is cured as confirmed on 1st Nov , 2019.
