Day 3 of the Induction Programme at Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Akurdi was a power-packed and enriching experience for our students. The day began with an informative session on e-Connect Initiatives led by Mrs. Tejashree Deokule Ma’am, who highlighted how the college stays connected through various digital platforms. This was followed by a highly engaging session on Cyber Security by PSI Sagar Dilip Poman, whose valuable insights helped students understand the importance of online safety in today’s digital era.

Additionally, Dr. Priyatama Powar Ma’am guided students through an informative Library Tour, helping them explore academic resources and digital facilities. Dr. Mukesh Mohite Sir then conducted an interactive Students Club Orientation, introducing students to the various cultural, academic, and extracurricular clubs that nurture leadership, creativity, and teamwork.

Day 2 of the Induction Programme 2025 at Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Akurdi unfolded with insightful sessions, meaningful interactions, and an enriching blend of academic and professional guidance for our newly admitted students. The day began with an enlightening expert session by Mr. Yash Jain Dakle, a Pharmacovigilance Specialist at DCS, who offered a deep dive into the fascinating journey of a drug — from research and clinical trials to post-marketing safety — inspiring students to appreciate the responsibility and precision that define the pharmacy profession. The programme continued with a session on Overseas Education and Career Prospects, opening students’ minds to global opportunities and the possibilities that come with international exposure. Up next, Mrs. Tejashree Deokhule highlighted the significance of important scientific and social days such as National Science Day, World Health Day, Earth Day, Pharmacist Day, and more, emphasizing how DYPCOP celebrates these events to nurture scientific curiosity and social responsibility. Students also benefitted from a thoughtful session on Problem and Solution Discussions based on the Bhagavad Geeta, offering timeless wisdom for decision-making, resilience, and balanced living.The day concluded with an engaging Guidance and Mentorship Session by Ms. Pranita S. Shankaratti, whose valuable insights motivated students to approach their academic journey with clarity and confidence. With enthusiastic participation from students and guidance from faculty, Day 2 concluded on a harmonious note, setting a strong momentum for the upcoming sessions.

The Induction Programme 2025 at Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Akurdi commenced on 12th November with great enthusiasm as our newly admitted students stepped into an exciting new academic phase. The day featured an enriching series of sessions beginning with an introduction to Academic Rules and Regulations by Dr. S. P. Chaudhari, followed by a calming Meditation and Yoga session conducted by Mr. Dhanesh Paradkar. Students were then guided into the world of pharmacy through an insightful talk on the Pharmacy Profession by Dr. R. G. Katedeshmukh. The outline of the Grievance Redressal Committee was presented by Mr. Pawan Wankhede Sir, ensuring students are well aware of the support system available to them on campus. Day 1 set a perfect tone for the days ahead, fostering awareness, positivity, and excitement among our new batch. We look forward to a week filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences as our students begin their journey with the DYPCOP family.
