Natal cleft spindel cell tumor excised and defect closed with LIMBERG FLAP.
A Limberg flap is a type of rhomboid (diamond-shaped) transposition flap used in reconstructive surgery to close defects, particularly in areas with tension or insufficient tissue for direct closure. It involves creating a rhomboid-shaped incision around the defect and transferring adjacent tissue to cover the area. The flap is rotated to fit into the defect, and the surrounding skin is mobilized to close the donor site, allowing for tension-free closure with good cosmetic results. This flap is commonly use to close the defect of pilonidal sinus, pressure sores, and skin cancer excisions.
