Successfully discharged a neonate in just 32 days with :

1. ELBW
2. Severe IUGR (growth below 3rd centile).
3. Hypoxic Respiratory Failure
4. Hyaline membrane Disease
5. Necrotising enterocolitis stage 1
6. Sepsis
7. Shock

This case is unique as we were able to extubate Neonate within 2 hours and continued on NIV.
The baby is completely neurologically intact. HNNE optimal; GMA shows normal writhing movements for age.

When expertise meets persistence, outcomes change.

A critically ill newborn with HIE Grade 3 and shock was referred with a poor prognosis. With advanced neonatal care — including HFOV, inotropes, and precise bedside assessment using POCUS — we pursued an aggressive, evidence-based approach.

Alongside intensive management, constant communication and compassionate care for the family remained a priority.

Today, the baby has been successfully discharged — a result of timely decisions, clinical vigilance, and sustained effort.

हर बीमार नवजात सिर्फ infection का मामला नहीं होता।

एक गंभीर नवजात को मेरे पास रेफर किया गया, जिसे सांस लेने में तकलीफ और दूध पचाने में दिक्कत थी। जब इलाज के बावजूद सुधार उम्मीद के अनुसार नहीं हुआ, तो आगे जांच की गई—जिसमें किडनी की जन्म से जुड़ी समस्या (Multicystic Kidney Disease) का पता चला।

समय पर सही कारण पहचानकर इलाज किया गया और बच्चे की हालत स्थिर की गई।

नवजात की देखभाल में सही समय पर सही निर्णय ही सबसे बड़ा फर्क लाता है।
