The quieter you become, the more you can hear!
It is from personal experience that we can talk about meditation being an effective psychological re-centering exercise. For example, an introvert after having spent time outside upon returning home needs to spend time alone to feel like themselves again.
In our day to day mundane life, meditation can make us feel alive again and help us reach out to the source of happiness within us. Not to mention that it does enable us to tackle everyday stuff better and just go with the flow rather than going against it.
