Kundalini is a concept from ancient Indian spiritual traditions, particularly within Ta**ra, Yoga, and Vedanta. It refers to a form of primal energy (or shakti) believed to be coiled at the base of the spine, often symbolized as a serpent.

Core Concepts of Kundalini

Location: Kundalini is said to reside in the Muladhara chakra (root chakra) at the base of the spine.

Awakening: Through specific spiritual practices—such as meditation, breath control (pranayama), mantra chanting, asana (postures), and energy work—Kundalini can be awakened.

Rising Energy: Once awakened, Kundalini energy rises through the Sushumna nadi (central energy channel), passing through the seven chakras.

Goal: Full awakening leads to spiritual enlightenment, expanded consciousness, and union with the divine or cosmic consciousness.

Seven Chakras Kundalini Passes Through

Muladhara – Root chakra (survival, grounding)

Svadhisthana – Sacral chakra (creativity, emotion)

Manipura – Solar plexus chakra (power, will)

Anahata – Heart chakra (love, compassion)

Vishuddha – Throat chakra (expression, truth)

Ajna – Third eye chakra (intuition, insight)

Sahasrara – Crown chakra (divine connection)

Kundalini Awakening Symptoms
