After completing his 5 & ½ years of Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course from Government Ayurvedic Medical college under Calcutta University He went to Kerala. He completed his course on Panchakarma from National Research Institute of Ayurveda on Panchakarma, Kerala. He also completed a special course on Ano-rectal diseases from Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur. He worked as a House Physician in J.B.Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata and I.P.G.A.M.E at S.V.S.P Hospital, Kolkata. He also worked as Doctor-in-charge in Narendrapur RamaKrishna Mission Ayurvedic Hospital, Narendrapur. He is a pioneer in Ayurvedic Treatment related to Skin, Joints, Ano-rectal problems and Gasto-intestional problems.
