PEPTIC ULCER
A peptic ulcer is a sore that develops in the lining of the stomach, upper small intestine (duodenum), or food pipe due to damage from stomach acid. It is a common gastrointestinal problem that, if untreated, can lead to serious complications.

🔹 Causes of Peptic Ulcer

▪️Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection – a bacteria that weakens the stomach lining

POLPOID GROWTH- SIGMOID COLON

🔹A polypoid growth in the sigmoid colon refers to an abnormal tissue projection arising from the inner lining of the lower large intestine.

🔹These growths can be benign (non-cancerous), but some may progress into precancerous or malignant polyps if left untreated.

🔹CAUSES
genetic predisposition, chronic inflammation, and lifestyle factors such as low-fiber diet, obesity, and smoking.

Altered bowel habits (constipation or diarrhea)
Blood or mucus in stool
