प्रथम दिन - देवी शैलपुत्री 😇🤍 हम आमतौर पर शैलपुत्री का अर्थ समझते हैं कि देवी पर्वतों की बेटी हैं, लेकिन यह समझ का एक बुनियादी स्तर है। योग के मार्ग पर, शैल का अर्थ है उच्चतम शिखर - चेतना की उच्चतम अवस्था। जब ऊर्जा अपने चरम पर होती है, तभी आप इसे वास्तव में देख और पहचान सकते हैं। तभी आप शुद्ध चेतना - देवी को समझ और अनुभव कर सकते हैं। इससे पहले कि यह अपने चरम पर पहुंचे, आप इसे पूरी तरह से नहीं समझ सकते, क्योंकि यह चरम से ही जन्म लेती है। यह "चरम" किसी भी गहन अनुभव या भावना की ऊंचाई है। उदाहरण के लिए, अगर आप 100% क्रोध में हैं, तो वह क्रोध आपके पूरे अस्तित्व को घेर लेता है। अक्सर, हम भावनाओं को पूरी तरह से व्यक्त नहीं करते, लेकिन जब आप पूरी तरह से उसमें डूब जाते हैं, तो आप ऊर्जा का उभार भी अनुभव करते हैं - और बहुत जल्द, आप इससे बाहर भी आ जाते हैं। ऐसे क्षणों में, जब आप पूरी तरह से समाहित होते हैं, देवी की उपस्थिति महसूस होती है। शैलपुत्री उस ऊर्जा का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है - समर्पण और शक्ति जो तब उत्पन्न होती है जब आप खुद को पूरी तरह से देते हैं। शैलपुत्री की पूजा करने से पत्थर जैसी शक्ति मिलती है, समर्पण मिलता है। जब मन विचलित होता है, देवी का नाम जपने से मन केंद्रित और शांत होता है। वह साहस, दृढ़ संकल्प और किसी कार्य को पूरा करने तक प्रयास करने की क्षमता प्रदान करती है। नवरात्रि का पहला दिन बहुत शुभ माना जाता है और घटस्थापना के साथ शुरू होता है, एक अनुष्ठान जो स्त्री शक्ति का प्रतीक है। नवरात्रि के पहले रूप शैलपुत्री की इस दिन पूजा की जाती है। शैल का अर्थ है पत्थर - शक्ति, स्थिरता और अनुशासन का प्रतीक। उनकी पूजा करने से अपने लक्ष्यों और सपनों के प्रति समर्पण आता है। उनका रंग सफेद है, जो शुद्धता, शांति और भक्तों की हार्दिक प्रार्थना का प्रतीक है जब वे नौ दिनों का उत्सव शुरू करते हैं। वह मूलाधार चक्र - ऊर्जा की नींव की देवी भी हैं। जाग्रत होने पर, वह परम चेतना भगवान शिव की खोज में ऊपर की ओर यात्रा शुरू करती हैं। योगियों के लिए, यह दिन सभी अनुशासन, आधार और स्थिरता के प्रारंभ बिंदु का प्रतीक है। शैलपुत्री का मंत्र: ॐ देवी शैलपुत्र्यै नमः॥ Om Devi Shailaputryai Namah

Day 1 – Devi Shailaputri 😇🤍

We usually think Shailaputri means that the Goddess is the daughter of the mountains, but this is only a basic level of understanding. On the path of yoga, Shaila represents the highest peak – the highest state of consciousness. When energy is at its peak, only then can you truly notice and recognise it. Only then can you understand and experience the pure consciousness – Devi. Before it reaches its peak, you cannot fully grasp it, because it is born out of the peak.

This “peak” is the height of any intense experience or feeling. For example, if you are 100% in anger, that anger consumes your whole being. Often, we do not express emotions fully, but when you are completely consumed in it, you also experience a surge of energy – and very soon, you also come out of it. In such moments, when you are fully absorbed, the presence of Devi is felt. Shailaputri represents that energy – the commitment and strength that arise when you give yourself totally.

Praying to Shailaputri brings strength like a stone, it brings commitment. When the mind is wavering, chanting the name of Devi helps the mind to be centred and composed. She bestows courage, determination, and the ability to persist in an endeavor until it is accomplished.

The first day of Navratri is considered very auspicious and begins with Ghatasthapana, a ritual symbolising the power of the feminine. Shailaputri, the first form of Navdurga, is honoured on this day. Shaila means stone – a symbol of strength, stability, and discipline. Worshipping her brings commitment to one’s goals and dreams.

Her color is white, symbolizing purity, peace, and the heartfelt prayer of devotees as they begin the nine-day celebration. She is also the Devi of the Root Chakra – Mooladhara, the foundation of energy. Upon awakening, she begins her upward journey in quest of Lord Shiva, the Ultimate Consciousness. For yogis, this day symbolises the starting point of all discipline, grounding, and stability.
