Today on the Occasion of Liberation day of D&NH and Friendship Day we the members of Rotaract club of Silvassa with our parent club Rotary club of Silvassa and Silvassa Municipal Council distributed around 3500+ mask to the street vendors of Silvassa Municipal area .It was a pleasure to work together with the Silvassa Municipal Council during these difficult times.

We hope you remember to wear a mask in public,for yours as well as theirs safety.

Event: Mask distribution to street vendors.

'Protect one, Protect all. We wear a mask for you, you wear a mask for us.'

Rotary and Rotaract club of silvassa along with Silvassa Municipal Council will be distributing mask to the street vendors this Sunday (02/08/2020). This is a small way to show our appreciation for all the hardwork done by the street vendors who provide us the basic necessities of life which make our lives easier.

Kargil Vijay Diwas, named after the successful Operation Vijay, is celebrated in India on 26 July. On this date in 1999 India successfully took command of the high outposts which had been lost to Pakistan. The Kargil war was fought for more than 60 days, ended on 26 July and resulted in loss of life on both the sides. The war ended with India regaining control of all the previously held territory.

When is it?

What do you have to do?

• Plant a sapling near your house.

Why do it?

Plants are our basic source of oxygen. With the increasing carbon footprint humans have caused on this planet, it is natural to feel helpless. But you can help, and help just by staying at your home. You have the key to a greener planet in YOUR hands. A tree doesn't require alot to grow. It just needs a little bit of water and alot of love. Help us make a difference little by little.

The photos we received had so much positivity in them that it made us wonder the Impact of selflessness on mental health. Rotaract Club of Silvassa presents Project *'Anapurna'*

He who feeds hungry animals, feeds his own soul.

The ones who have suffered the most during the lockdown are the stray animals who depended on humans to feed them. Many are going hungry for days and their health have reduced to starvation.

*What you can Do ?*
Take this week and feed atleast one stray that is near you. Fortunately, you wont have to look to hard to find one. They will mostly be looking for food around wherever you are.


Click a picture of the stray eating the food you have offered and send it to our instagram- or page- Rotaract club of Silvassa with your Name and place for one week starting from the 1st of july till the 7th of july.

*Every Participant will receive E -Certificate and a thank you note*

*Note*: this is not just for Rotaractors. Non members are also welcomed to participate.
