Hollowing out of bones, called OSTEOPOROSIS, is a disease in which bones are demineralised. Bones become weak and brittle, prone to easy fractures.
Serious fractures like spine and Hip can happen leading to a permanent bed ridden state.

Long standing steroid use
Long standing inflammation of any cause

Risk of Falls (due to brain, nerve or heart disease)
