Parjanya (Sanskrit: पर्जन्य parjánya) according to the Vedas is a deity of rain, thunder, lightning, and the one who fertilizes the earth.

Starting with hymns in Parjanya Sukta,

O, you who offer this worship, sing the praise of the mighty Parjanya Deva, the supreme good of rain, and entice him.

Delighting in his powerful roar, he generously sends showers of rain.
May Parjanya, who is swift to send his bounty, make the plants fertile so that they germinate.

Relaxation is an art. Relaxation is also a science. It sounds easy - one merely close the eyes and sleeps. But, in fact, for most people relaxation is very difficult. While resting, their minds are in a state of turmoil and bodies are tossing and turning. Relaxation starts by taking your consciousness away from emotionally charged thoughts and directing it to activities that are emotionally neutral such as the awareness of your breath or different parts of your body. Naukasana or Shavasana can be practiced after regular yoga practice for maximum benefits.

Through this verse, the Lord Krishna teaches that Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor these kings of men. Never will there be a time hereafter when any of us shall cease to be.

Swami Vivekananda explains like this -
You cannot die nor can I. There was never a time when we did not exist. There will never be a time when we shall not exist.

People talk about the beginning of the world, the beginning of man. The word beginning simply means the beginning of the cycle. It nowhere means the beginning of the whole Cosmos. It is impossible that creation could have a beginning. No one of you can imagine a time of beginning. That which has a beginning must have an end. “Never did I not exist, nor you, nor will any of us ever hereafter cease to be,” says the Bhagavad Gita. Wherever the beginning of creation is mentioned, it means the beginning of a cycle. Your body will meet with death, but your soul, never.

One can read or speak a million words and still find no change in one's consciousness. Although it is very much possible to devour a great amount of knowledge that is not related to expanded awareness.

I personally believe that the aim of yoga should be to become a suitable vessel to receive the influx of higher consciousness.

Sri Aurobindo put this very idea clearly with his quote.

योग: कर्मसु कौशलम् | is a great verse of Bhagavad Gita, which implies as ‘Yoga is the art of working skillfully’

समाधी - Samadhi - Samadhi is the eighth and final step on the path of yoga, as defined by Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. The term is derived from several Sanskrit roots; sam meaning "together" or "completely," a meaning "toward" and dhe, meaning "put." Direct translations vary, and interpretations range from "bliss" to "liberation" and even "enlightenment."

ध्यान - Dhyana - Dhyana is a Sanskrit word meaning "meditation." It is derived from the root words, dhi, meaning “receptacle” or “the mind”; and yana, meaning “moving” or “going.” An alternate root word, dhyai, means "to think of." Dhyana is a refined meditative practice that requires deep mental concentration. Like any other limb in yoga, meditation is a systematic process in itself, which takes practice (and patience!) to learn.
