Wandering for Wellness Travel , Lifestyle & Wellness Writer| Body Positivity blogger| Wellness isn’t just about having a fit body, 6 pack abs or fitting in.

It’s more about feeling well, feeling healthy, waking up fresh and accepting your body for what it really is despite your love handles, cellulite and fine lines and who you really are.. I’ve learnt that its very important to enjoy the finer things in life. No one wants to live a life of deprivation and starvation. The way we see it, wellness is a journey you embark on one day at a time. You should allow yourself that glass of wine on the weekend and a few squares of dark chocolate and truly savour it without feeling guilty about it. We wanted to incorporate all the different facets of wellness- emotional, physical, spiritual and find holistic solutions to achieving peace, balance and finding joy in everyday things.

Glimpses of the week that was 🦥🌿🌸🤎😌🌊
At the beginning of the year, I kept asking myself- how can I soften? What can I release? In the few days here- I got my answer. I had to release control. My mind stopped racing, I got softer around the edges and I’m learning to be okay with the extra pounds .

Wishing us all a happy 2026 that brings us good health, grace, spontaneity and soft landings 🧿 love love love

Promise to spam y’all soon ☺️

I spent many years in Rajasthan when I was a little girl, which is probably why the jungles here have always had an inexplicable hold on me.

This was our second trip back to Sariska in just a few months, this time spending a few days at , and we’re so glad we made it here☺️

A quiet respite from the cacophony of city life and terrible air, the lodge meets you with a sense of ease that settles into the body. Tucked just a few metres from the Sariska gate, it allows you to slip into a different rhythm almost without noticing and you can hear animals in the evening if you listen intently🦚🐆

Once you are here, days move slowly.
Think : languorous mornings reading, watching butterflies drift past, and long walks with Nigel🐕 Afternoons that feel ripe for rest, especially after the most incredible food. There are no menus here. Each day, the chef prepares a feast based on what is seasonal and locally available, and every meal feels thoughtful and deeply satisfying.

The space itself feels expansive and easy to be in. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the beds are so conducive for a good nights sleep. I loved the plunge pool, the reading nooks and the loungers for about afternoon siesta 🤍

Hearing the sounds of the jungle through the day, listening to birds, and gazing at the stars after dinner was the icing on the cake🫶

Sariska Lodge is only about 3 hours from Delhi and it’s a beautiful way to spend the weekend if you’re keen to slow down and appreciate the natural world.

Grateful for the care and warmth that went into this stay, and already looking forward to being back 🤍 I’ll be sharing more on the feed and I hope you’ll check them out 💌

Huge thank you to the team at the lodge for making our stay memorable and to for facilitating this 🌸☺️

This was a tough one to write but an important one for sure ❤️‍🔥🌀🫂

At some point, I realised that a lot of what is labelled as wellness feels strangely incomplete. Well at least for me.

Not because care is unnecessary, but because it is often framed as something private and self-contained. Optimised and untouched by the world around us. It centres the individual often without any care about what other people are going through.

Over time, I started paying closer attention. I noticed how rigid routines made my days feel smaller rather than steadier. How care that ignored context slowly stopped feeling like care at all.

Letting go of that happened quietly and it’s something I’m working on consciously.

I stopped forcing routines that did not fit my life. I stopped treating rest as something to earn. I stopped equating effort with care. Instead, I began listening more closely to myself and to the world I move through.

Because wellness, for me, cannot exist in isolation. If it requires looking away from suffering or injustice, it feels incomplete. Real care sharpens awareness rather than dulling it. It makes it harder to turn away, not easier.

Wellness has to be rooted in mutual care. In community. In the understanding that our wellbeing is shared.

Some days are active. Some are ripe for rest. Some ask us to show up beyond ourselves. I hope we never look away.

Late night musings 🌼🧸
I chose to stay in tonight after spending the most wholesome day with some incredible humans. Instead of pushing myself to do more, I opted out of plans to come home to read and write

If you’re sensitive, the world can feel louder than it does for others. The pace, the noise, the expectations, the constant emotional exchanges. They tend to all land more deeply in your body.

And for a long time, you might try to override that.
Push through. Toughen up. Tell yourself you should be able to handle more. To be everywhere at once. To attend everything and to say yes even when you’d rather be home

It’s a highly attuned nervous system that notices subtle shifts, emotional undercurrents, and changes in atmosphere. It’s your body talking to you so I hope you’ll listen in 🫂🫂

You don’t need to become less sensitive to survive this world. You need to organise your life in a way that supports the nervous system you have.

There is nothing wrong with needing more care.
There never was🧸🤍

December musings ☁️🦢🪞
I hope this month brings us many opportunities that allow us to dial it all the way down. Slow is nourishing. It is intentional. It is incredibly underrated. We forget that so much of life is lost in the rushing and doing things half-heartedly.. in doing so we have even less time to do what we truly love. I hope we can listen to ourselves and say no when we’re feeling tired, depleted or stretched. Take care of yourselves. Look out for each other and conserve your energy. The winter months will ask you to slow down. Sending you love ❤️

I’ve been talking about this for nearly a decade now but burnout is not to be taken lightly. We get so caught up with the idea of doing more, pushing ourselves beyond our capacity and being everywhere.. we forget that the richness and the sweetness comes in the in-between moments. I’m doing less. In dialling it all the way down. In consciously trying to load our plates less.. sending y’all a giant hugggg 🫂🫂🤎🧸

Slow mornings at , dogs following us everywhere, sunlight slipping through the trees, and my hoodie keeping me snug through every bit of it 🧸 It truly feels like a warm hug. Soft, cosy, and made from organic cotton that is kind on the skin and the planet 🫶

I love that 50% of the profits from support conservation NGOs. I am wearing the Orca because we have a special connection 🐳 It feels even more special knowing the heart behind the brand. As the founder says, “I’ve loved animals and nature since I was a little child. That love led me to become a wildlife filmmaker, and eventually to start Flaming Koala.” You can feel that love in everything they create. Purpose-led, thoughtful, and deeply rooted in care for the wild.

Here are a few moments from a weekend in Marchula that softened me in all the right ways. There is something about that gently grounds you without trying. The stillness, the forest, the feeling of being held by nature and by people who care deeply about what they have built. A weekend here did something quiet but lasting to my nervous system and my heart. Built with so much love by and , and filled with the warmth of their little family, this place truly feels like home.

A gentle reminder to support small businesses that are truly all heart 🫶🐾 Now go on and show them some love 🥰💌

Hope these slides bring you some warmth 🤍🤍

Reflecting on my time in Jordan 2 years ago. I still think no place taught me quite as much as 10 days in Jordan did. It would be diminutive to call it a holiday because it restored my faith in humanity in many many small ways. The reminder that we have more in common than we think… that in all moments, we should think of others and think about them. I hope to be back someday soon 💌🪬🧿

Moments from a beautiful weekend escape a few weeks ago🫶🌳🐕🦃

Marchula Estate is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you have left. We were planning this getaway for months and im so glad it finally happened when our bodies needed a reset. We arrived overwhelmed and highly strung and left with a greater appreciation for the world around us and honestly nothing grounds you better than a few nights in the jungle.

It is quiet in the most comforting way and the kind of space where your shoulders drop without you even noticing. The rooms are cosy, the design is thoughtful, and the gurgling of the brook lulls you to sleep.

Built and lovingly run by Mansi, Mustafa and their lovely daughter, Amna- the estate felt like home within the first few hours and I cried(yes, really) when it was time for us to leave because it held us so gently 🥺

It felt too precious to share but good girls don’t gatekeep gems so I’m sharing it in the hope that good people who love the sounds of the forest and the quietude find their way to this beautiful home sometime soon.

If you’re looking for a place to rest, reset, and find a bit of mountain magic, this might be the spot for you. We’re so grateful we got to experience it and we hope you do too🧸🤗
