I spent many years in Rajasthan when I was a little girl, which is probably why the jungles here have always had an inexplicable hold on me.
This was our second trip back to Sariska in just a few months, this time spending a few days at , and we’re so glad we made it here☺️
A quiet respite from the cacophony of city life and terrible air, the lodge meets you with a sense of ease that settles into the body. Tucked just a few metres from the Sariska gate, it allows you to slip into a different rhythm almost without noticing and you can hear animals in the evening if you listen intently🦚🐆
Once you are here, days move slowly.
Think : languorous mornings reading, watching butterflies drift past, and long walks with Nigel🐕 Afternoons that feel ripe for rest, especially after the most incredible food. There are no menus here. Each day, the chef prepares a feast based on what is seasonal and locally available, and every meal feels thoughtful and deeply satisfying.
The space itself feels expansive and easy to be in. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the beds are so conducive for a good nights sleep. I loved the plunge pool, the reading nooks and the loungers for about afternoon siesta 🤍
Hearing the sounds of the jungle through the day, listening to birds, and gazing at the stars after dinner was the icing on the cake🫶
Sariska Lodge is only about 3 hours from Delhi and it’s a beautiful way to spend the weekend if you’re keen to slow down and appreciate the natural world.
Grateful for the care and warmth that went into this stay, and already looking forward to being back 🤍 I’ll be sharing more on the feed and I hope you’ll check them out 💌
Huge thank you to the team at the lodge for making our stay memorable and to for facilitating this 🌸☺️
