It was a privilege for our team from Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda Research Institute (VARI) to contribute to the 7th International Conference on Nutraceuticals and Chronic Diseases (INCD 2025) held at Kariavattom Campus, Thiruvananthapuram.

๐Ÿ”น Dr. Asish G. R, Principal Scientist, VARI, served as a panellist during the international seminar on nutrition held on 08 October 2025, sharing a practical perspective rooted in interdisciplinary health sciences and community wellness. His insights highlighted the emerging nutritional challenges and the need for integrating modern science, Ayurveda, and traditional knowledge, and innovation to achieve meaningful public health outcomes.

We recently hosted our 4th batch of international students from AIMST University, Malaysia, in collaboration with Al Shifa College of Pharmacy. The three-week immersive training program covered Ayurvedic drug designing, new product development, analytical instrumentation, quality control, and herbal authentication.

Beyond the classroom, students had the opportunity to visit the Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI), Peechi, enriching their experience with hands-on learning and fostering cross-cultural exchange in Ayurveda.

The State-Level Workshop on โ€œConservation, Promotion, and Sustainable Utilization of Medicinal Plantsโ€ successfully concluded on 23rd September 2025 at the Golden Jubilee Hall, MSME DFO, Thrissur.

Vaidyaratnam proudly participated in this event organized by AMMOI, which focused on the conservation of Rare, Endangered, and Threatened (RET) medicinal plant species.

Our Executive Director, Ashtavaidyan Dr.E.T Yadu Narayanan Mooss, along with Dr. Sheela Karalam, Dr. Asish G. R, Dr. Remya V, and Dr. Leejo, actively contributed to sessions that focused on:
Cultivation strategies on temple lands & RET species utilization.
Export potential and sustainable sourcing of Ayurvedic medicinal plants.
Advances in tissue culture, biodiversity conservation & legal frameworks in Ayurveda.
