Common sense is not a gift… it’s a punishment. 😅
Why? Because when you have it, you constantly have to deal with everyone who doesn’t. You see the obvious, the practical, the simple solutions, but so many around you choose to ignore them. They overcomplicate life, make mountains out of molehills, argue about what doesn’t matter, and create problems that don’t need to exist.
It’s exhausting. It’s frustrating. It’s even infuriating at times. You find yourself repeating the same advice, explaining the same simple truths, and watching people still make the same avoidable mistakes. And yet, you can’t help but notice it all. You see the patterns, the flaws, the missing logic, and it never stops.
Having common sense feels like carrying a secret everyone else refuses to learn. It’s like being awake in a world of sleepwalkers. But here’s the silver lining: while it may feel like a punishment, it also gives you clarity. It allows you to navigate life with fewer illusions, make better choices, and protect yourself from unnecessary chaos.
So yes, common sense can feel like a curse at times… but it’s also what keeps you sane in a world that often seems designed to test your patience. ✅
