According to Ayurveda, to maintain a healthy and disease free life everyone should follow Sadvritta.
It plays a key role in the maintenance of health and prevention of disease.Continues practicing these principles gives balance and peace to the mind.
This is the code of conduct for keeping good and balanced condition of body and mind. By following these, a person can achieve two aims together such as आरोग्य (health) and इंद्रियां विजय (control over the sense organs.
These regimens of right conduct and behavior will not only help individuals to obtain and maintain their health but also help to build a most civilized society and nation, worthy of emulation.
By Appropriate utilization of Sadvritta, we can prevent various types of physical and psychological disorders and can achieve long and healthy life in terms of physical, psychological and social aspect.

Spring(वसंत)is considered as the season of flowering and origin of new leaves.
In this season, the accumulated कफ in शिशिर ऋतु starts getting liquified in the body. This process can either be a revitalizing phase or it can trigger various health conditions.
The strength of the person reduces to medium and digestive power also gets decreased (मंद अग्नि) which leads to various kaphaj disorders.

Ubtan is a mixture of ayurvedic herbs and natural ingredients which has tons of beneficial properties for your skin.
Ingredients -
🔸Gram flour/बेसन - It is excellent for skin and provides scrubbing action,removes dead skin cells,dirt and excess oil , leaving the skin soft and supple.

🔸 Turmeric powder/हल्दी - Antiseptic in nature ,relieves skin lesions and enhances skin complexion.

🔸Rose petal powder/गुलाब- It has calming effect on skin. Relieves burning sensation and makes skin soft and glowy.

🔸 Manjishtha powder/मंजीठ - Excellent for skin, removes hyperpigmentation and improves overall skin health.

🔸Mulethi powder/मुलेठी- fades dark spots, minimises blemishes ,lightens sun tan and maintain a healthy glowing skin.

🔸Sesame oil/तिल तैल - It is considered best oil in ayurveda. It is full of antioxidants and prevents any kind of skin damage caused due to UV rays, pollution and any other environmental toxins.

🔸Rose water/ गुलाब जल - It balances all the doshas but specifically it balances पित्त दोष . Deeply hydrates the skin,provides cooling effect ,balances pH of skin. It helps making your skin glow from within.

🔸Milk cream/मलाई- Hydrates the skin,evens out the skin tone, brightens complexion and improves skin elasticity.
(Note- you can skip milk cream, if you have oily skin)

Though, Honey has its promising effect on health but it is necessary to explore the proper use of honey as per Ayurveda.
Use of honey with warm water has adverse effects on health and People are using the combination of same having misconception that it will be beneficial to health.
Undigested or more dose of honey is more harmful than all other undigested substances in the stomach.
For digestion of any substance in stomach,use of hot water is prescribed but in case of honey it is prohibited owing to the poisonous nature.
Hot water use after indigestion or else mixed with honey can do chemical changes in the stomach and lead to the fatal condition as any poison!!

The season or ऋतु expresses different effects on the body as well as the environment. With the change in season,the change is very evident in the environment we live in and as human beings are also the part of the same ecology,the body is greatly influenced by the same.
If body is unable to adapt itself according to the changes in season,it may lead to various kind of illness and disorders!!
Hence,Ayurveda has mentioned various rules and regimen(ऋतुचर्या) regarding diet and lifestyle to acclimatize according to the season without disturbing body's homeostasis.
As during शिशिर ऋतु (mid January -mid March)
cold is severe 🥶and dryness🙍‍♂️ is more,the above mentioned regimen is indicated in Ayurveda.😃
Now,What is the effect of शिशिर ऋतु on body?🤷‍♂️⬇️
In this season, our digestive fire is ignited⏫ and appetite increases⏫. Due to this, body is easily able to digest heavy foods.🍲
But if heavy and unctuous food is not consumed accordingly🙅‍♀️,it makes the body weak😥 and leads to Vata aggravation.↗️

Therefore it is very essential to follow particular regimen mentioned by our acharayas according to the season to obtain स्वास्थ्य ( health) and prevent the diseases.
