A successful medical camp was organized by the BharathMD Foundation in Hyderabad, the primary aim of the event was to help advance Muscular Dystrophy research in India. The event was conducted in collaboration with JSS Hospital, Mysuru (JSS Medical College, Mysore, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research).
The program brought together children with confirmed DMD and their mothers, who participated in a research study involving the collection of blood samples for
a project on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) Biomarker Identification. These samples are being processed by JSS who are working with the community to improve understanding and management of DMD.
This event also provided a valuable platform for families to connect, share experiences, and support one another. Experienced parents offered guidance and
comfort to younger parents, fostering a sense of community among the DMD families. The gathering was meaningful and uplifting for the families involved.
The BharathMD Foundation expresses heartfelt thanks to the patients and parents for sharing their time and expriences as well as their trust. BharathMD belives the community it is creating the true strength behind it's initiatives.
Gratitude is also extended to the amazing team of volunteers: Suvetha M, Ritika Chordiya, Tanmayi, Charan, Sai Anurag, Supraja Namala, Ramesh Yadav, Aashritha Ganti,
