Is there any feeling quite as magical as digging into a bowl full of mac and cheese, or eating a slice of pizza? Thank carbohydrates for that.
Carbs make us happier - and not just because they’re delicious, but they actually have a chemical reaction because they boost your brain’s release of serotonin – a chemical in the brain that helps you feel calm and satisfied.

Carbs in moderation are actually good for you.
They are proven to be a main source of energy. It is known that carbs are broken down to become glucose, and glucose gives us energy. But the wrong kind of carbs, or carb overload, can be bad for our bodies.

Remember - Carbs are not the enemy. Carbs are not evil and Carbs will definitely not kill you.
Eating everything in moderation is the key.

For some people, gaining weight can be just as struggling as losing weight is for others.
When you have to gain weight, you still want to use a healthy approach, not just add a bunch of high-sugar and high-fat items to your diet. While that will certainly add weight, that approach is not necessarily the best for your body.

Adding certain foods like sabudana, nuts, banana shakes,, etc to your diet can make your weight gain efforts both healthy and more effective.
Make choices and your health decisions wisely!💚

Food especially high fat sugary or salty snacks can be consumed more than planned if we eat them mindlessly under stress.

Even if the snacks are healthy, huge quantities of them can be problematic and set us back in our health goals.

Some people eat less when they’re under stress. Others need the distraction of comfort food or fattening snacks when things aren’t going right. Because the effect is temporary, you may find yourself eating when you’re not hungry, or without thinking about it. That can lead to unhealthy decisions. So always be aware of what you’re eating and why you’re eating it.

The battles of the bread have no clear winner! But you are definitely the winner of this game if you realise that one is not worse than the other.

What we believe to be ‘healthy’ or ‘unhealthy’ depends on our own perceptions and is not always the truth of the matter.

Research has also shown that participants’ glucose, fat and cholesterol levels are similar when both pieces of bread are consumed. They found, contrary to popular belief that there were no clinically significant differences between the effects of the two types of bread.

Hence, intuitive eating is a balance that needs to be followed when consuming food. Practice mindfulness today and keep following for more interesting facts!

Hunger is your body’s way of letting you know it needs more food.

However, if you always feel hungry even after having a high amount of protein shake then it could be your poor diet, hormones, stress, or lifestyle.
We tend towards food when we are anxious, stressed out, or emotionally disregulated. Why?
Because our body uses food as a coping mechanism to help us feel better.
But that's not the root solution to this. Is it?
Being conscious about your emotions, behavior around food and actual hunger call will help you work on your food psychology.

👇🏼These are a few things you can try out to resolve your emotional hunger issues :

Stress – breathing exercises, meditating, or finding a quiet place to take a walk.

Loneliness – text, call, or video chat with a friend or a loved one.
