What is Exercise snacking or Exercise snack?

Exercise snacking refers to incorporating brief, frequent bouts of activity, typically lasting seconds to a few minutes, into a sedentary day to break up prolonged sitting and improve health.
These "snacks" can involve simple activities like stair climbing, chair squats, short bursts of brisk walking, lunges, or yoga postures and can be performed anywhere without special equipment. The goal is to accumulate physical activity throughout the day, reducing risks associated with a sedentary lifestyle and providing benefits for cardiovascular health, blood sugar control, and mood.

GUIDELINES
1. Keep the legs engaged by locking the knees.
2. Contract the core muscles and keep the spine flat on the ground.
3. Relax the shoulders and neck.
4. Practice relaxed breathing.

A little back issue restricted me from deep back bends since long but now recuperating and feeling exhilarated in the process 😀

3. Hips facing the ceiling
4.Palms pushing to the floor and index finger pointing in front
5.Body extended
6. Gaze towards the knees

Mountain pose is a relaxing as well as an exhilarating posture used independently or in yoga asana sequence.
