Psoriasis is more than “just a skin problem” — it’s an autoimmune condition where the skin renews too quickly, leading to red, scaly, itchy patches. Nikhil faced this for years, with flare-ups on his forearms, thigh, and even his face. Creams and steroids gave temporary relief, but the patches always came back.
Looking deeper into his history, we found his journey had started much earlier — back in 2008 with constant bloating. Despite normal test results, his digestion never felt right. Over the years, stress piled up, and soon colitis was diagnosed. Medications helped for a while, but eventually stopped working. By the time psoriasis appeared, his gut was already inflamed and sensitive.
When he came to us, we focused on the root: healing his gut. Alongside simple foods — rice, gourds, khichdi — Nikhil was also taking supportive remedies like Psorinum, Mezerium, Nat Mur, Apis Mel, Ars Iod, along with zinc, and daily greens supplements. For his skin, he used neem cream, paraffin moisturiser, and gentle cleansers to manage dryness and itching.
Once his symptoms stabilized, we built a structured food plan:
🌾 Light, non-inflammatory grains
🥗 Clean, plant-based proteins instead of whey
🥑 Nourishing fats for skin repair
⏰ Steady meal timings for balance
🚫 Strict avoidance of triggers like gluten, sugar, fried food, nightshades, tea, coffee
🌱 Psoriasis isn’t just a skin condition — it’s linked to the gut. When digestion is weak and inflammation builds, the skin mirrors it. By supporting his gut, Nikhil could finally find relief and eat with confidence again.
His story shows us: true healing begins within. 💚
