Psoriasis is more than “just a skin problem” — it’s an autoimmune condition where the skin renews too quickly, leading to red, scaly, itchy patches. Nikhil faced this for years, with flare-ups on his forearms, thigh, and even his face. Creams and steroids gave temporary relief, but the patches always came back.

Looking deeper into his history, we found his journey had started much earlier — back in 2008 with constant bloating. Despite normal test results, his digestion never felt right. Over the years, stress piled up, and soon colitis was diagnosed. Medications helped for a while, but eventually stopped working. By the time psoriasis appeared, his gut was already inflamed and sensitive.

When he came to us, we focused on the root: healing his gut. Alongside simple foods — rice, gourds, khichdi — Nikhil was also taking supportive remedies like Psorinum, Mezerium, Nat Mur, Apis Mel, Ars Iod, along with zinc, and daily greens supplements. For his skin, he used neem cream, paraffin moisturiser, and gentle cleansers to manage dryness and itching.

Once his symptoms stabilized, we built a structured food plan:
🌾 Light, non-inflammatory grains
🥗 Clean, plant-based proteins instead of whey
🥑 Nourishing fats for skin repair
⏰ Steady meal timings for balance
🚫 Strict avoidance of triggers like gluten, sugar, fried food, nightshades, tea, coffee

🌱 Psoriasis isn’t just a skin condition — it’s linked to the gut. When digestion is weak and inflammation builds, the skin mirrors it. By supporting his gut, Nikhil could finally find relief and eat with confidence again.

His story shows us: true healing begins within. 💚

👉🏻Here’s the truth: digestion doesn’t always improve after gallbladder removal — for many, it gets tougher.😔

👨🏻‍🦱When Anuj first reached out to us, his days were filled with discomfort. He was just 35, a single parent carrying responsibilities on his shoulders, yet his health felt like it was slipping away.

🗣️Flatulence, burping, constant bloating, loose motions every week, incomplete bowel movements, uncontrollable sugar cravings, and restless nights became his “normal.” Six months earlier, he had undergone gallbladder removal and since then, his digestion never felt the same. What seemed like a solution only left him more exhausted and helpless.

🧆To cope, Anuj often found himself munching on namkeens and biscuits quick fixes that gave temporary relief but silently worsened his gut health. His energy was low, his sleep was disturbed, and his body felt heavy.

🎖️But transformation begins with one step 🌿. When Anuj joined Aika, he didn’t just get a “diet plan” he found a lifestyle shift. We guided him to nourish his gut with balanced meals, build mindful hydration habits, and replace endless snacking with wholesome foods. Meditation and stress management became part of his daily routine, slowly calming his mind and supporting his digestion.

♻️Over weeks, his body began responding less bloating, better sleep, lighter energy, and a sense of control over his cravings. For the first time in months, he felt relief. And today, his story is a reminder that healing is not about quick fixes, but about nurturing the body consistently and patiently.

➡️Anuj’s journey shows that even after gallbladder removal, with the right guidance and determination, gut health can be rebuilt and life can feel vibrant again. 💚

When Mayank first came to us, he was struggling with chronic constipation, often going an entire day without any motion and always feeling like his bowels weren’t fully emptied. This left him feeling lethargic, low on energy, and dealing with frequent mood swings. We understood how frustrating and exhausting this cycle could be, so we took a careful, step-by-step approach to address his concerns. 🍵🌱

Instead of focusing solely on the symptoms, we worked on supporting his digestive health, starting with a personalized diet plan that included more fiber-rich foods to promote regular bowel movements. Alongside this, we emphasized the importance of hydration and lifestyle changes to help improve his overall gut function. We knew that true healing wasn’t just about relieving discomfort—it was about restoring his energy and helping him regain control over his body. 🏃

With continued support from our team of doctors and nutritionists, Mayank gradually began to experience positive changes. What once felt like a constant struggle transformed into a steady routine with regular bowel movements and a significant boost in energy. His mood swings also started to ease, and he felt more energized and balanced throughout the day. 🙂↪️👍🏻

It’s been amazing to see Mayank’s transformation from feeling stuck and drained to now enjoying a renewed sense of well being. This journey is a testament to how, with patience, the right guidance, and a holistic approach, lasting change is possible.😄♥️

When Alpa first came to us, her IBS had her feeling trapped—afraid to try new foods because she feared they would trigger discomfort. We understood her concerns and started with a list of safe foods to help her manage symptoms, but we also knew that true healing meant not living in fear of food. From fear of food to a newfound love for nourishing meals 🌱✨

Together, we took it one step at a time, introducing new foods in small, manageable amounts, always encouraging her to listen to her body. It wasn’t about restrictions, but about gradually expanding her food choices, allowing her to regain confidence and freedom. But surely, Alpa started to experiment with new recipes, finding joy in nourishing her body without fear.

It’s amazing to see her progress—from initially struggling with certain foods to now enjoying meals with excitement and balance. We started by gradually removing trigger foods while continuing to include foods she felt comfortable with like gourds and rice. Our team of doctors and nutritionists kept guiding throughout the process. This journey is proof that with the right support and patience, healing really is possible.

With an increased appetite during winter , it’s the best time to fuel your body with nourishing foods and stay active. 🧦🥶🍲

🔆The early part of winter is Vata dominant , bringing dryness, achy joints, and low mood, while the later part shifts to Kapha dominance , requiring grounding and warmth.

🔆Include heavy plant foods like nuts 🌰 and sesame oil, along with animal foods like ghee to sustain your energy and balance your doshas. Warm soups, regular Abhyanga (oil massages), and steam therapy are my go-to practices to stay cozy and energized. 🌱

🔆Make the most of this season by eating well, exercising more, and prioritizing warm, wholesome meals to keep your digestion strong! 🏃‍♀️🫐.
