Some people think "process foods" means "bad food" but in reality, food processing has been integral part of our lives for centuries!

Not all process foods are created equal and "processed foods" are not specific type of food. In fact, most of the foods we eat are processed in some way!

Here are some different type of processed foods.

1) Unprocessed (whole) foods: These foods have not undergone any processing like fresh fruits, vegetables, chicken fish etc.

2) Minimally Processed foods: These foods have undergone Minimal Processing, minimal processing means, cutting, freezing or roasting. Example like frozen or cut vegetables in packet or roasted nuts.

3) Moderately Process foods: These foods have undergone processing at large scale but without extensive chemical changes. Like fruit juice and jam.

4) Finally we have ultra Process foods: like burgers, biscuits, ice cream and fast food. These foods undergone extensive Processing.

Highly process foods tend to be much higher in calories and less nutrient dense than whole.

Who said anything about healthy food being expensive?

Well yeah, some "exotic" foods can definitely leave a hole in your pocket...but that doesn't mean you cannot find equally healthy (or even healthier) options in your local market!

At end of the day, there is no unhealthy food. Just unhealthy portions. So measure your calories, calculate your macro requirements and enjoy your eating your favourite within the recommended quantities.

And remember, you can "eat healthy" on any budget!

Yes it's is possible to lose weight without starving yourself.

It's not smart to eat just anything keep your stomach feeling full. But on the other hand, depriving yourself of essential nutrients is a big mistake, no matter what your goal is. Eating food based on satiety (or food item's ability to keep you full) can help you lose weight and keep it away.

Of course, satiety has to balnced with calorie intake, nutritive value and other factor too. To help with this, i made a list of food item that have a high satiety index and are relatively low on calories. This will help you get the best of both worlds. Staying full and fit!

Weight gain and weight loss are both complex Process that take time and effort to achieve. They require change in your habit and lifestyle and consistant approach to nutrition and excersise as well.

It's important to understand that weight gain doesn't happens overnight, and the same is true for weight lose. If you have been leading a sedentary lifestyle and eating unhealthy for years, it's unlikely that you'll able to lose all the excess weight in just few weeks but on flip side. If you've been consistent for many month and slipped just for one day, you don't have to worry! Just get back on track ASAP.

It's important to remember that small steps can lead to significant progress over time. The key to fitness success is persistence and consistency. You must stay focus on your goal even seems progress seems slow, and be willing to make necessary changes. This might mean changing your diet (eating a balanced diet within the recommedned calorie limit), increasing your physical activity, or seeking Wellness coach guidence💪

If you avoid them thinking they will make you fat, 1 small banana has just 90 calories and 0.3 g fat!

Oh! But it is loaded with starch. 🤨
But, my dear, it has resistant starch that works as the soluble fiber in the body, and keeps you full for a long, instead of making you fat!😉💪🏻
