*What is Vaman ?*
VAMAN is an important procedure in Panchkarma,
This therapy helps to remove Kafa in the body and reduces obstructions in circulation.
In winter chest get congested due to cough and as summer starts coughing and sneezing start. Such troublesome secretion is taken out of our body by a scientific way of induced vomitting which is known as VAMAN.Is specially done is Vasant Rutu ie in summer .
Vaman also helps to reduce heavy mestrual flow , Amnorhea ( low or no menstral bleeding ) and PCOD . In many problems causing infertility VAMAN is a choice of Aayurvedic Doctors,
Obesity , heaviness due to menopause , Fat depositions , high Lipid are some more symptoms to get Vaman therapy done ,
*Whats the exact therapy ?*
Patient is suggested to drink meficated ghee ( Type of Ghee and duration varies with patient). Then massage and steam is done to loosen the toxins and direct them to stomach . After giving medicine to induce vomitting this all toxic material is throw out . Everything must be done under medical supervision
*Pathya - food restrictions*
Some food restrictions are to be followed during and after therapy.
